This travel budget hotel is great for if you are in Xiamen for a night or a couple of days. I think it is a gem. I was clean, the rooms have what you need and the staff were super friendly. You definitely get a bang for you buck. They don’t have many amenities if any but it in a good location as well.

Rooms are very cozy, clean and spacious. Location is not far from the two most popular touristic spots (Botanical Garden and departure port to Gulangyu island), could easily get on the buses from the stations that are just a couple minutes walk. Service was nice, check in didn’t take long and cost isn’t overpriced. Satisfied. Overall: 9.5/10.

I came to Xiamen for an exam and stayed for 3 days. The room I stayed in was not facing the street, so it was very quiet at night. The overall environment of the hotel was very good, the room facilities were relatively new, and the hygiene was also good. The mattress in the room was very hard, and my back and waist hurt a lot. After sleeping for three nights, I felt so painful that I needed to see a physical therapist and acupuncture. I reported it to the manager, but it was not solved well. In fact, it is easy to take down the mattress, and we can do it ourselves, but because we don’t know the reason behind this two-layer mattress design, is the lower mattress dirty with blood stains or stains or is there a problem with the springs? So we didn’t do it ourselves in the end. My skin was itchy when I slept at night, probably because the sheets were not clean or had bacteria. The Wi-Fi network was completely unusable, so I couldn’t watch TV. For Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and foreigners who don’t have mobile data networks, the unusable Wi-Fi has a big impact! There are also fresh fruits such as watermelon and orange every morning. The security guard at the entrance, every staff member at the front desk, breakfast staff, and room cleaning staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic, which makes people feel happy. There is hot water and coffee in the hotel lobby. You can drink hot tea as soon as you arrive at the hotel after playing every day. There is also a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, but I didn’t have time to use them. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and there are many shops, supermarkets, fruit shops, etc. in the nearby residential area, and there are also many bus stops. It is very convenient to reach Nanputuo Temple, Xiamen University, Shapowei, Botanical Garden Bell and Drum Cableway, etc. We also took the bus to the cruise terminal to take a boat to Gulangyu Island.
