The hotel’s location is in a very low standard environment and for the booking fee and pictures I saw, that was the least of my expectations. It was also very hard to find considering it’s inside a mall and the environment outside is too clustered. When I got there, the service was too hostile for my liking, I didn’t feel welcomed at all. The room was more of an apartment design than hotel, totally not convenient for a short and pleasant stay. The last kicker was not having a working wifi, I asked both the day and night staff for help but they gave me bad explanations. I also didn’t like having the cleaning lady waking me up before 10 asking to clean the room, and she was already inside. Opened the door without my consent as the guest inside.

Location is good.

The room is quite big, and there is a quiet afternoon tea for two people every day, and a bowl of noodles from 10 am to 12 pm. The hotel service is very good, especially Xiao Jiang at the front desk, who helped us mail things back to Shanghai. The hotel is also in a good location, right outside Zhongshan Road, and very close to Gulangyu Pier. I will recommend staying here next time

The hotel is in a commercial building, but the occupancy rate is very low and it is not noisy. The location is excellent, you can appreciate the ancient flavor of Xiamen, and the pedestrian street is also close at hand.
