Sofitel Xining

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Tangdao 637 Cultural Street, making dining, shopping, and entertainment very convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and everything is clean and tidy. The hot water supply is excellent. The staff are warm and attentive. Breakfast offers a rich variety of dishes, and there's also parking available. Overall, I'm very satisfied and give it a five-star rating!

Sofitel Xining Huahai, a luxurious French-style five-star hotel in the Haihu New Area, boasts an excellent location. It's within walking distance to Tangdao and Wanda shopping districts, and offers convenient access for self-driving tours around the lake or exploring the city. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with humidifiers and oxygen concentrators, which are essential for high-altitude areas. The bedding is soft and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety, including local Northwestern specialties. The hotel also features an indoor heated pool and a gym. The service is attentive and thoughtful, making for a truly satisfying stay.

The location is truly excellent, and parking is convenient. The room was spacious enough. The hotel's overall facilities are a bit dated, but they seem to be well-maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the executive lounge food largely met our needs. I'd suggest putting a little more effort into improving the breakfast flavors and getting the coffee machine properly repaired.

This is my fourth time staying here, and overall, my experience has been great. The hotel facilities are well-equipped and in good condition, and the room hygiene is meticulously maintained, making it clean and comfortable. The service is thoughtful and patient, although communication can be a bit challenging when trying to express specific needs. The location is very convenient, right next to the airport shuttle pick-up/drop-off point, which saves a lot of time and effort when catching flights. It's quiet and livable, making it perfect for a short transit stay.

This hotel is simply perfect. Built in a French style, it's romantic and luxurious, making it ideal for couples. The water temperature in the room was normal, no sudden cold or hot bursts. The only downside was that the TV wasn't working. Everything else was great though.

The 5-star hotel facilities, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. The location is also excellent, making it convenient for getting around and finding food. It's also family-friendly. I left something in the fridge when checking out, and they found it very quickly. Thumbs up! 👍

The room was decent, just a bit old. The service was pretty good, and the location was super convenient. However, it was really noisy at night, and since I'm a light sleeper, I barely got any rest! I guess that's what you get for being in a busy downtown area.

This is probably the best hotel in Xining. The service and facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the cleanliness is excellent. It's located in a bustling area with several shopping complexes nearby, which might lead to some noise at night (due to outside activities).

Beyond its good location, everything else was terrible. The front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, and the lobby was chaotic. The rooms were old and dated. My street-facing room was incredibly noisy, with music blaring past 11 PM, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was very mediocre. Personally, I felt this so-called 'five-star' hotel completely lacked any warmth.
