I stayed for ２ in October. It was about a 7-minute walk from the airport, so I arrived in the morning, so I had my luggage checked in before check-in, and I was able to leave it until I got on the plane on my way home, so it was very convenient. The airport is close, but the number of planes is small, so it is not noisy. Everything from jam, dressing and yogurt was handmade by my wife. I was able to ask for a lunch box for a mountain climbing tour and it was delicious. It happened that we were the only customers due to the cancellation of the typhoon, so as soon as we came back, we prepared a bath and it was very comfortable with the friendly owner and wife. The price is reasonable and the room is shared but can be rented out. I was in a room with a toilet so there was no inconvenience. I think it's a very good inn. I would definitely recommend it if you go to Yakushima.

The hotel is next to Miyanoura Pier. Although it only takes a five-minute walk to arrive, we were overwhelmed by the heavy rain when we got off the high-speed ferry. We called the hotel for help and sent a car to the pier within 5 minutes to make us reach the hotel safely. Thank you for the extra help. We ordered breakfast and dinner for two days. The hotel was able to provide a non-repetitive menu, and we were very satisfied with the quality and quantity. The soup was also great.

We spent 2 nights here at the beginning of March and absolutely loved it. We had two Japanese style rooms (one per person), with Tatami mats on the floor and Futons as a bed. We had a toilet, but a bit strangely no shower, which was not a problem, because in the indoor and outdoor baths, there are good shower facilities. The rooms are a bit small, but totally okay for one person (for two persons it would be a bit crowded). The indoor and outdoor baths are lovely and as usual, separated by gender. We had halfboard included, which was amazing. Dinner is a several courses Kaiseki dinner, and really tasty and diverse. If you dont eat meat, seafood and fish, you will not be happy however. Breakfast is a japanese bento box, and a small buffet. For lunch, you can order a bento box, which we did, and which was very tasty and the best bento box I had so far in 3 trips to Japan. Staff is very friendly, and even if they dont speak much englisch, they really go out of their way to help. The Ryokan is just opposite the small airport, where there is also a bus stop. In easy walking distance there are two supermarkets, and a very good italian restaurants (Il Mare), which make excellent pizza and pasta, using local ingredients like ****ake mushrooms and boar meat. The buses run very unfrequently, so you are better off with a rental car. Its excellent value for money, especially if you love japanese food.

A hotel I used to take a high-speed boat from Awa Port in the early morning. Arrived in about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop. About 5 minutes on foot from Awa Port. It was recommended for double beds, couples and families, but I might want to sleep alone in this size ... The room smells more moldy than the interior. I can't stand staying for consecutive nights for many days ... I'm sorry. .. As for towels, I'm not good at thickness, which is poor in water absorption, and I'm not happy with this either. (The towel didn't smell strange) I was planning to board the boat early in the morning, so I chose only dinner for meals. The dinner, the tobio and the kama baked were delicious! I was impressed because I ate the tobio for the first time. I often see it flying in the local Mie sea, but I was happy that I had never eaten it because it wasn't harvested much. It is also good to be close to A Coop. The reception of the wife in the cafeteria is also natural and very good.
