The hotel is a bit far away, so it’s better to stay here on a rainy day. The front desk service is good and the room is larger than average. There are convenience stores and ramen shops near the hotel, which are full of delicious food. It feels good to stay for 2 days.

I think the size of the room is by far the best in this area. It's up to you to focus on that. The facilities are a bit old, but there are no issues with the cleanliness, so some people may find it quite relaxing. There is almost no noise. Since it was the change of season, the air conditioner wasn't working so I asked the front desk and they brought a cute heater. Personally, I like the fact that you can get the Yamagata Shimbun for free.

It was the day of the Yamagata Hanagasa Festival, so the location was perfect. Since it is a historic hotel, I don't think there is anything bad about the service or food. It's a compact cityscape, so I'd like to stay here again when I go to Yamagata City. The day before, I stayed at the Toyoko Inn behind Yamagata Station, and it was a much better hotel than I could compare.

Used on family trips. I happened to be batting with a student group, and it was a bit lively. Well, I guess it can't be helped... Amenities are abundant. There was an espresso machine and I drank it morning and night.
