"A good standard Japanese hotel with a beautiful lobby. The rooms are spacious with two normal-sized beds, a shower with all the essentials, and a robe/pajamas. On the 9th floor, there's a corner with vending machines for drinks and snacks, as well as coin-operated washing machines and dryers. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the area, and it's about a 10-12 minute walk to the station."

"This hotel is super convenient, right outside Yamagata Station's west exit. The room layout was great, with plenty of storage space, which was perfect for all my luggage. The breakfast spread was delicious and varied. My only minor complaint is that the restaurant had a strong lingering smell. Every time I left, my clothes smelled like I'd just been cooking in a kitchen!"

"We stayed here for two nights. The front desk staff on our first day spoke some Chinese, which was a nice bonus. Our room was super spacious and had a view of the ski slopes! Dinner was amazing! They had sukiyaki with Yamagata beef slices and a buffet! When we returned to our room, they had already turned down our beds. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic! This place offers great value for money, and the hot springs are wonderful too!"

"Best experience I could get from this place was the owner being a great cook and exceptional with her conversations and mannerisms in sending and welcoming her customers. Location is wonderful too, as it is quiet yet not far from the main areas to eat and transit in Yamagata. Honestly 1 of a hidden gem. Only drawback would probably be the hot tub as she is handling it on her own and if there are multiple people living there that night, it can get a little dirty, so I'll keep to using the showers would do. Love the place so much!"
