Nipponia Hotel Yamefukushima Merchant Town

This room is very special. There is an old-fashioned tea-frying machine inside, and a bar counter converted from a tea-making machine. The room is a duplex with upstairs and downstairs. It is actually suitable for more people to live in. It is an old house, and it is a bit scary for two people to live in. It is too empty.

I understand the concept. The worst thing is that it's just cold!! That's all there is to it. I kept my coat on in the room. There were three of us staying, so two of us were in bed and one was in the living room(?) on a futon, but this living room was even colder because there was no partition between the entrance and the hallway. I had to keep the bath open and keep the water running. It might have been a little better. The other thing was that the repairs and furniture looked too cheap. It would have been better if they had asked someone with more taste to do the interior! It's a shame. The food was neither good nor bad. I think it would have been better to have a hot pot or something in the winter. I think the spirit of preserving old things is wonderful, but if you're going to preserve them, you should either keep them in that state or renovate them so nicely that you'll be impressed. There's nothing more tasteless than renovating an old house with just a vague a**osphere.

This hotel is located in the old town of Yame Fukushima. It was remodeled from a liquor store, and some parts remain the same, so you can feel the nostalgia even in the new place. The food is definitely delicious. The bath is not a hot spring, but it is a cypress bath and green tea is used as a bath salt. There is no TV. Because it is an old building, the sound of the outside and the sound of closing the door echoes, but it is recommended for those who appreciate the a**osphere.
