Haiyue Hotel

This hotel is enormous, with incredibly high ceilings. Highly recommended for children with homework or online classes, or adults with work! The rooms have two study desks and two desk lamps. The Yantai Party School is right behind the hotel, and Huanlehui (Happy Gathering) is about 1km away. Yantai University Beach is another 1km away (but Tianyue Bay Beach has more small animals). The breakfast selection of noodles, wontons, steamed buns, porridge, and fruit is excellent. The lobby is spacious and equipped with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and a weighing scale. There's a small convenience store in the corner, but I only noticed it when I was leaving because the lobby is so large. There are washing machines and dryers, which are very useful. The staff are friendly and responsive. Taxis are readily available, making it easy to get around. Oh, and the hotel corridors have many paintings offering a glimpse into the past of Yantai Port (Chefoo Harbour). Excellent value for money.
