very good hotel for family trip

I don't even know where to start! But I HAVE to start with the dancers/animation/fitness team because they absolutely made my trip. 100 I LOVED the fitness group - honestly, never been to a hotel that offers such amazing classes (tip: download the TUl Magic Life app to see the schedule). Big applause to: • Shayn for the facial fitness classes (so unique!) •Marcela for zumba and salsa (so much energy) (perfect balance) •Yasmine for step & burn and yoga •Uashington for zumba and step (non- stop fun) •swazi the singer ! Angelic voice Also the cooking class with the chef, special shoutout to the guest service lol really funny (Loved the slata mechwiya recipe) The team was incredible, so welcoming, and honestly the main reason I'll definitely be co back next year. The pools and beach were spotless — really well taken care of. The hotel has four pools (indoor one was closed this season), and we especially enjoyed the adults-only pool. My parents couldn't get enough of the jacuzzi pool. Oh also, the a la carte restaurants loved the indian / Mediterranean restaurants (you'll have to book) Also, I loved the little details - like the kids' song they play daily, super cute touch (shoutout to whoever came up with that, I think it's Mymo?). Overall, the hotel was clean everywhere, staff were friendly, and we had such a great week. Definitely planning to come back to a Magic Life hotel again! This is our second trip this year and we enjoyed it just as much. Our room was better than in April and I will note 137 here so that I can remember it for our next visit! We especially enjoyed the sea this time. This and the beach are both fantastic. Special mention to Hedi, Manuela, Moez, Monia, Fedi, Rhiadh, Mouldi, Jay Jay, Abdu, Liv, Kyle, Shayne, Jazz, Uoshington and Marcela. All of you helped make our holiday special again.

We had a lovely stay at the Tui Magic Life Africana in February. All of the staff we encountered were outstanding. We received a warm welcome, chilled drinks and quick check in at reception. The expansive lobby and Wunderbar create a great first impression of the hotel. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfy, with views from the balcony overlooking the gardens. Loved the landscaped gardens, numerous pools and private beach. The hotel is in a good location, you can easily walk to the marina, medina, shopping centre and Carthage Land theme park in Yasmine Hammamet. We felt perfectly safe walking around and the hotel itself felt very secure. Visit Hammamet by taxi, there were a few yellow taxis outside the hotel or reception can arrange one for you. The Tui excursions we took to El Jem, Sidi Bou Said and Carthage were excellent...thank you to Fati our tour guide. There is plenty to do at the hotel; our highlights were archery and the quiz with Jay Jay (what a fantastic entertainment manager) and yoga & fascial fitness with a sea view. We can highly recommend the spa in the hotel. The treatments we had were excellent and good value. The food is very good, plenty of choice, a variety of Tunisian dishes and great service. We can see why so many people we met had returned to this hotel year after year, with some staying for several weeks. Hope to return to the Tui Magic Life Africana next year.

I want to start my review by saying this was a last minute holiday that we would not usually have. Also, we are used to going to the Caribbean, which appears to have a difference level of all inclusive. We travelled as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 6 year old boy) for 7 nights. The flight from the UK and transfer were fine. We arrived at the hotel after 9pm though, which meant the buffet was closing soon after. We had pre-booked out room, however when checking in it was clear we were not getting the room we had reserved. This was ok in the end as we were not meant to pay until arrival so were not out of pocket and the staff member assured us the room we were allocated was bigger and in a better location. The reason we could not get the room we selected was due to the hotel being only half open. The room we had been given was a good size so we were happy with this. We had also been given a small selection of sandwiches, sushi and salad due to the restaurant being closed. The following day it was evident the hotel was not fully open which was a bit of a disappointment at first. The first issue we had was that none of the outdoor pools were open. We were aware the slides and activity pool was going to be closed, but the others were not expected. We were not happy with TUI as this had not been made clear to us prior to booking or prior to arriving. There was an indoor pool in the spa area, however this was usually empty with no atmosphere and no bar option for drinks. The pool itself was not the cleanest with a green ring around the tiles. Additionally, none of the al a carte restaurants were open either which meant we would have to eat in the buffet every night. We are used to eating al a carte every night, and while we knew the al a carte options would be limited we thought there would be options. However, the buffet food was very nice of a decent quality, but lacking sometimes in options. The beach area was nice. I am not a beach person, but there was a nice little raised grassed area with beach beds so we could keep an eye on our son who was playing in the sea/sand. The beach was also open so we had drinks available. The downside however, was there was no snack bat which meant we had to get showered off, dried and dressed to attend the buffet for lunch instead of some beach side snacks which would have been preferred. As the hotel was less than half full there were some advantages. The staff were very attentive. We never had an empty glass. The bar staff also made a big fuss of our son who never went without a mocktail and continuous plates of biscuits, fruit and cakes. One member of the lobby/lounge bar was Esdeen, who was amazing. I was also able to watch the football in the coffee bar (Closed during the evenings) with the staff keeping my drinks topped up. The entertainment staff were great too. There was a show almost every night with either dancing, games and some nights a live piano player. Jay Jay was the entertainments manager who
