The shops nearby are very convenient, and it's close to the airport.

Acceptable, but the value for money isn't great.

This is a decent hotel option for an aurora viewing trip. The location is very close to the airport. If you arrive in Toronto late at night, a taxi can come directly to your hotel; with a tip, it will cost less than 20 Canadian dollars. There's a Tim Coffee and Starbucks nearby, as well as an Independent supermarket and Walmart, making it convenient. However, the hotel environment is just average, about the level of a Motel 168. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is very basic, just bread and eggs. It's okay for a short trip of one or two nights.

It wasn't luxurious, but the staff were kind and it was a reassuring place. We used it to see the aurora borealis. There were restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which was great! However, there was no cell phone reception in this area, so it's a good idea to bring a pocket Wi-Fi device!

The room was stuffy with only heating, no air conditioning. Although they provided a fan, it was useless. There weren't enough seats for breakfast, and when we went half an hour before the deadline, many items had already been taken and hadn't been replenished.
