Hotels Near Park in Yeroskipou

We have just returned from a great holiday at the Mayfair Hotel, Paphos 4th - 11th November 2023. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the Hotel and Gardens, both are located together in nice well kept grounds and with 3 outdoor and 1 indoor (heated) pool with plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in the Mayfair Hotel and room was spotlessly clean with Tea / Coffee facilities and a fridge which was ideal. Food was excellent with a great choice for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and there was also a dedicated section for Vegan and Vegetarian choices as well as the excellent selection of salads from the salad bar, there is a lovely outdoor dining terrace and staff are very attentive. The bar staff were friendly and with a great selection of drinks included within the All Inclusive Package and is worth the difference. There was a varied evening entertainment programme with some great live singers performing and the entertainment team had a programme of activities throughout the day. The spa was relaxing and well priced. Already looking at returning next November as weather was excellent and this is a great hotel choice, yes it is in a residential area but its only a 15 minute walk to the waterfront / harbour area and would definitely recommend.

This is by far the best hotel i have had the pleasure of visiting - ever. I repeat...ever. I have reviewed well over 100 hotels on TA, and i cannot overstate the awesomeness of this property. The place is beautiful, immaculately clean and the rooms are at an unsurpassed standard of comfort. The attention to esthetic detail all over the hotel, public spaces and rooms are, simply put, a straight 10. We stayed in the cabana rooms (009 and 010) and they were truly a special experience. By far, the highest compliment i can give goes to the staff at the Amavi. All of them, without exception, were very courteous, always smiling and highly responsive and professional. I was upset by one reviewer who commented negatively about the staff, so i will say this again - I have never experienced such a high standard of service, from the bell-boys at the entrance, the reception, restaurants, guest services and housekeeping. Credit must be given to the hotel’s GM and to those responsible for the staff training and maintenance of such high standards. The food was better than outstanding. The dinner at Nocturne was one of the best cuisine experiences that i, together with my friends, have ever experienced. Thank you for this weekend experience. We will return - as often as possible - and it is a pleasure to know that you can access such a high-quality property, at a reasonable price.

The breakfast is rich. The hotel is close to the sea, and it's quite beautiful to watch the sunrise in the sea view room. It has convenient parking. It's suitable for trips of families, parents and children as well as couples. The coastal running track is behind the hotel, which is very convenient for morning exercises. A marine project service point is conveniently located nearby.

for the price we paid we felt we had overall a very good experience staying at this hotel. The room was lovely and the balcony area was big enough for 2 sun loungers and a 4 set dining table which got the sun from about 11am onwards (Sept time). My only negative point would be the cleanliness of the pool. All over our stairs was black mould which at times would float about and the grout was badly needing scraped so i felt myself dodging this when i was going in the pool which is a bit off putting. The pool did get cleaned once when we were there (12 days) which made it a bit better but not for long. Otherwise the room itself was very clean. The other downfall was at the swim up suites the bar was closed!? so no music/drinks which we were not told about when booking.

We stayed at Olympic lagoon September 2024. Facilities were fabulous and the staff were all very friendly and helpful . Special thank you to Simona our room maid, it was a pleasure each day to come back each day knowing our room would be lovely and clean and tidy. Also thank you to Georgetta in the spa for giving the best back massage ever !

Lovely 10 day stay, great restaurant choices, we particularly enjoyed the Mediterranean and Bacco. The staff at both were particularly attentive and so friendly with our boys (11m and 3yr). Great kids choices and nothing off limits for our baby, literally any combination of ingredients cooked however we liked and blended to any texture.. complimentary room service even if you didn’t want this at the restaurant. The kids club was the best we have experienced. Rachel runs the most professional and caring kids club and crèche. Heather, Rachel and Ramona were so great with our boys, it’s the first kids club our eldest has been happy to leave us, he spent the morning there everyday and one day even asked to go in the afternoon too! They have a soft play, did endless drawings, crowns, masks, cutting and sticking, and all the toys imaginable. The creche was also ideal, it has a limited capacity so was really calm, all the toys a little one could need and lovely cots for nap time. Everything is very hygienic, wiped down after the sessions use. The boys were just so happy to go everyday and it really did make a big difference to our holiday. We will definitely be going back for the kids club alone!

From a late evening arrival we were greeted by the general manager I think and he was lovely he walked us to our room number 718 took us into our room and showed us how the air con worked etc. He could not do enough for us. After unpacking we went for a couple of drinks in the bar and was greeted warmly by the very friendly staff. We went for breakfast the next morning and the food was lovely plenty of choice and very nicely prepared. There are plenty of seats around but be careful if you are non-smoker like us and sat one morning in the smoking area by mistake - most smokers were smoking and eating at the same time lol. We were just bed and breakfast as that was what we opted for which was adequate for our needs. Our room was cleaned daily with regular towel changes and bed linen changes. Our room was lovely 718 with lovely views across the sea. We had a fridge, safe and a kettle included but that was due to the upgrate we paid for on booking the holiday. On our first evening I lost my bangle and it was found by a bar waitress and handed in for me after I put a request on the hotel's Facebook page to see if anyone had handed one in - I did not expect to see it again so was totally shocked to get it back - THANK YOU. Went to Coral Bay several times which is where the bus 615 terminates it is the best beach ever. The Cynthiana has its own private beach with free sunbeds but you will have to get up at 4am to get a sunbed on the beach or on the jetty area. Plenty available around the pool. All in all I can honestly say I am so glad we chose this hotel it was so clean, friendly and definately worth the money and we so look forward to returning in 2025 hopefully to the same room 718. Just returned from a 10 night stay here with hubby and friends. Originally booked another hotel but after multiple bad reviews there we changed to here. So glad we did, the whole hotel, indoors and outdoors is spotless. ALL of the staff are a huge credit to the hotel, all very friendly, welcoming and hard working. The food is very good, unlike most all inc buffet styles, you can put together a lovely meal, not just 7 or 8 things on a plate because they look good ! You’re not overfaced and the choice of foods isn’t excessive, just everything done to a high standard, with a different theme every night, our fave was Italian night. Drinks are drinkable, if you’re all inc, you can have branded drinks for half the price stated on the bar list, which is very good . Entertainment laid back but enjoyable. It is a little remote but buses are every 15 mins from the top of the road, to both coral bay/ beach , Paphos old town and harbour in the opposite direction. It was clear during our stay that they have many returning guests which is a sign that it is a super hotel. The only tiny negative is that if you are all inc the staff have to keep asking for your room number and if you’re all inclusive even if they’ve already served you earlier that evening, this is rather than have a wrist band like most all inc hotels, it is literally a tiny snag . My hubby and I would definitely return again as we enjoyed everything about it, just a very relaxing break which we really needed in lovely surroundings and sunsets which are amazing. If you are able , do book a sea view as it is certainly worth it.

Not a 5 star hotel, 3 star would be fair. Rooms and corridors are dated and in need of refurbishment. Bathrooms were good. The built in wardrobes are old and the door came off in one of our rooms. We paid a lot of money to stay here and was frustrating our mini fridge was not replenished and we had to pay extra for this. Just water and soft drinks was what we wanted but no. Every other all inclusive our fridge has been stocked with soft drinks and beer. On arrival we checked in and got given our keys and that was that. There was no explanation as to where we eat, what other restaurants we could book into, entertainment, activities, snacks etc. Every other hotel we have had a 10/15 minute welcome talk and a drink. Not here! We booked as we were told it had a sports bar but there isn’t one. They put a screen up for one football game. We were also told there was a night club but there wasn’t. The entertainment, if you can call it that, was awful and nothing more than a bit of music on the patio. We did see that there was a small amphitheater but that wasn’t open again a shame as we book all inclusives for this. The hotel is also a wedding venue and priority gets given to the wedding so we felt very second fiddle. Not only was a chunk of hotel used for this but more importantly all the staff were too so the service for us guests was painfully slow. I even said something to one of the barmen and he asked me if I had seen Fawlty Towers!! Then the beach it was dirty and far from impressive of only the hotel took care of it like the neighbouring hotel. On our first day there it was lined with numerous bin liners. With 5 kids the entertainment was important to us but that was a let down then the water sports was also. Half of the activities were not in operation. The main boat was being refurbished we were told - maybe do that in the quiet time or when the hotel is closed…. We had a lovely holiday nevertheless but had to make our own fun. There are local activities close such as water park and boat trips and beaches nearby which do offer water sports. We would not return and left feeling slightly ripped off

Fantastic! As travel staff in the UK. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively. I have stayed in some of the lost luxurious hotels of the world, but this has to top them. Service impeccable, food outstanding, facilities outstanding, rooms luxury and spacious. I have never returned to a hotel twice however, The Cap St George will be my exception and I will return. Jordan you are a credit to the hotel. Every day you interacted with guests. Made us all feel very special. Also Michalis hope I spelt her name right. Who always engaged with us . Thank you for a most amazing stay. We will return
