We had a wonderful stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable with lots of seating and spots for luggage. Plastic room slippers were provided to avoid slippage in the shower as well as fabric ones for the room. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was very tasty. There is an open lounge area for relaxing, visit with the three cats and tea tasting. One of the staff members Huai made our visit extra memorable with her kind hospitality. She was cheerful. friendly, and informative. We highly recommend this hotel.

It's an incredible place near from the turistic area. The women on the desk was so nice, even she gave us a tea service at the lobby for free. I recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience. One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather. Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

The lobby is beautiful and we were able to meet a cute black cat that wandered along with us wherever we went. Breakfast was nicely portioned on the rooftop. We went during winter so it was definitely colder and our air conditioning had a little problem but the host was so nice and brought up a heater for us which we had no problems then and even gave us a little midnight snack 😊 recommend for anyone looking for a laid back stay at hongcun
