"Full five-star reviews! The B&B is perfectly located, very close to Ximen, in a quiet alley with the main street just outside, offering the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The best part was the luggage service: the transition from tricycle to electric scooter was seamless, and the owner personally carried my luggage upstairs, eliminating the need to lug it myself (other hotels I've asked about shuttle service for, but it's free here). The room was spotless, and the home-cooked meals downstairs were delicious. The service was warm and attentive, and they even gave me a box of chrysanthemum tea as a gift upon check-out. It was a truly heartwarming stay, highly recommended!"

"Very cozy stay! The traditional Huizhou architecture is charming, with carved wooden beams and a peaceful courtyard. Close to South Gate, the boss helped carry our luggage and gave clear travel tips. The room is clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing after sightseeing."

"The owner sent someone to pick me from the west gate after i was missing the way to the hotel and tired dragging the luggage on uneven stone road. The owner has surprised me with an upgraded room with a little garden and projector. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful too. The hotel is clean, modern and well design. It consists 2 buildings which are separated by the walkway. The location is perfect and short walking distance to west gate which is surrounded by restaurants and shops out of the hongcun scenic area. I had an enjoyable walk out of the scenic area after my early morning photography at 5am and before tourists have started flocking in. A stay in hungcun is highly recommended if you are planning to have a peaceful photography session without any tourists at all. I will not wake up such early at 5am without the recommendations given by the owner. You will expect the calm and clearer water. Do take note that the locals may wash their clothes thus interrupting the calmness of the water. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if going to hungcun again."

"Great stay! Room is simple but great value, and I loved the old Anhui decorations in the lobby. Boss was kind to help me arrange a rideshare to the next destination. The old houses are not very noiseproof, but that's not the fault of the owners. That being said, it's fairly quiet if you don't have noisy neighbouring tourists haha."

"This is an awesome elegant place with great location. We travelled from Singapore and booked 3 rooms, and everyone is very happy and impressed with the stay. Need to call (or weixin) in advance to arrange for a buggy transport into the village, helpful if you have heavy luggage! The service staff are friendly and approachable. They are thoughtful in providing tea souvenir when checking out. What mars the great experience was that on my return, realized to my horror that there is no tea in the Tea-box. So, carried a tea metal box across the ocean for nothing! Did not expect such a service slip for such a top-class hotel. Regardless, will still highly recommend this place if you plan to stay in the village."

Considering that it is an old hotel, it should be a good reputation. I booked a two-night stay, drove for four or five hours, and arrived at the hotel at two o’clock. The hotel has a big parking, parking is free! The front desk registered, the service lady did not have any smiles, the business was given to us the room card, there should be two tickets for Qimen Mountain when booking, and we did not ask if we needed it, did not give it! Going to the room, the room is a very small room, completely different from the room I booked, called the front desk, adjusted the room, a little bigger than the original. But the room has a big smell of smoke, because the car has been driving for a long time, people are very tired, hurry up to rest, do not care. After a break, we went out to the attractions at three o'clock. We came back after dinner at night. We entered the room at almost eight o'clock. Then there was a noisy sound outside, the sound of closing the door, and the sound of dinging continued until late at night, resulting in our old couple not sleeping well all night. At six o'clock in the morning, the ping-pong began outside, and there were constant sounds that woke us up. The breakfast variety is small, the room is generally hygienic, two big bugs were found on the bed at night, the small mirror in the bathroom was full of stains, and the bed was uncomfortable. Think about our two 60- and 70-year-olds who had a bad rest at night, so we retired for the second night."

"The rooms have a lot of local character, and staying on the second floor offers a great view of the Huizhou-style architecture. The food is delicious and quite affordable. The owners are a very warm and genuine couple; they helped with our luggage and even provided pick-up and drop-off service outside the scenic area. We'll definitely stay with them again next time we visit Hongcun."

"This hotel has an absolutely stunning location with amazing views. It's very close to the main entrance of the scenic area, and right across from the beautiful rice paddies. You can enjoy the view as soon as you open the door. Unlike other hotels tucked away in winding, dark alleys, this hotel is visible from the roadside. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. They provided free pick-up and drop-off, and even pointed out good spots for us to take photos when we left. I would definitely recommend it to any friends who come here."

"The room was exceptionally nice, very quiet, and clean. During the peak weekend tourist season, the price was fantastic, and the kids loved it too! It's very close to both Hongcun and Lucun, making it very convenient. I woke up early in the morning to explore while the crowds were minimal, then returned to enjoy breakfast at the hotel. "Tachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!"
