"The house has a lovely small courtyard and two inner halls, all exquisitely charming. The location is superb, right next to Yueyao Bookstore, with a small arched doorway directly facing Yueyao Pond. Yet, once inside, it's a world of its own; the high horse-head walls block out all the hustle and bustle beyond the dark-tiled roofs, making it incredibly quiet. From the second-floor room, you can see a small world of neatly arranged tiles and a peaceful sky. The triple room was just right for two people and quite clean. The host also provides pick-up and drop-off service at the village entrance."

The room was very comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities I needed. The location is amazing, just by the moon pond, very centric to everything inside the village. I stayed at their Shangri-La and Dali properties last year, and this year's Xidi branch is even more spacious. It's ideally situated right next to Xidi's unique archway, and the surroundings are beautiful. The host service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the restaurant serves superb Huizhou cuisine at a great value. I'll definitely be back for another stay!"

"After descending Huangshan, I came to Hongcun to stay for one night. The proprietress contacted me in advance to inquire about the situation and helped me to arrange a carpooling. The driver said that this homestay is pretty good in this area. After checking in, I was not disappointed. The boss helped me carry my luggage into the room. The room was clean and bright, with welcome fruits and snacks. The toilet had a flush function, the toiletries were complete, the bedding was comfortable, and there was a bathrobe. The slippers are super thick, the same thickness as the ones I stayed in at a five-star resort hotel before! This is so thoughtful😊This time I specially booked a room with a bathtub. The price is very cost-effective with a bathtub. Taking a bath can effectively relieve fatigue. My boss heated up breakfast for me in the morning, which was light and nutritious. After I packed up and checked out, the boss sent me to the entrance of the scenic area. When I finished, I contacted the boss's wife and she brought my luggage to me and then took me to the bus station. The experience of staying here was very good. It can be seen that the boss and his wife run this homestay very carefully. If I have the opportunity to come here again in the future, I will choose your homestay. I wish you a prosperous business!"

"This is a great place to stay! It's a 300-year-old establishment, so you're literally living in a genuine ancient building. Located in Lucun, it's quieter and less crowded than Hongcun, offering a more peaceful experience. The Lucun Observation Deck is nearby, where you can catch the morning mist, sunrise, and panoramic views of the entire village. The owners are a family who moved here after retiring from their jobs. The grandparents are very caring, and the homemade dishes they prepare are hearty and comforting, truly warming both heart and stomach. Definitely worth a visit!"

"It must be a five-star rating. It feels like the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The natural location is good, and it feels like a paradise. The water flow gardening and architectural landscape in the hotel is also very Japanese, quite advanced, and the visual, auditory and taste senses are all mobilized, and the unity of man and nature; the most important thing is the thoughtful service. The children are not worried about playing crazy in the hotel for a day. The children have many opportunities and activities to get in touch with nature, such as fishing, feeding birds, watching ducks and sheep, playing football and archery (the frogs and Call ducks here are all introduced species, which are said to be very expensive). The hotel management is very amiable, and there are golf carts to pick up and drop off people up and down the mountain. They are caring and considerate from the heart. My husband and I have time for our own world; after staying for a few days, there are rich activities every day, such as morning meditation, tea picking, moxibustion, free afternoon tea, infinity pool, barbecue at night, and night theater. The food in the hotel is also very high-end and enjoyable, and basically all dinners are in the hotel. The May Day holiday is quite relaxing, eliminating the trouble of crowds. There are also many entertainment projects around the hotel. Hongcun and Taohuayuan rafting are nearby, which is quite convenient. I plan to stay at Xiawei Garden again in autumn. It is said that there are different styles of scenery. I highly recommend it!"

"The owner was a bit elusive, communicating entirely through WeChat, but they arranged for someone to pick us up and drop us off. The room was clean and had a small courtyard. It was very close to Moon Pond. We arrived around 6 PM, got settled, and then went out just in time to see the night view of Moon Pond. When we left, the owner took us to the roadside to catch a taxi and even helped us load our luggage into the Didi car."

"I was in Yi County during the National Day holiday and stayed here, which was quite convenient. It's close to Hongcun, Xidi, Bishan, Tachuan, Nanping, and more, and parking is easy. We arrived early and were easily checked in by the front desk. The room was quiet, and although the facilities were older, it was clean and tidy. It wasn't as unhygienic as some reviews suggest. Overall, it was a good value for money and highly recommended!"

"This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! The artistic vibe throughout is really strong. The owner mentioned there are quite a few famous paintings hanging around, and even though I can't quite tell what they are, the decor itself feels very tasteful and stylish. The Chinese-style courtyard is beautifully maintained, and I was lucky enough to visit when the lotus flowers were in full bloom – the pond was absolutely stunning with them! The guesthouse also has a cafe, and sitting in the courtyard, sipping coffee and admiring the lotuses, created such an amazing atmosphere. Every corner of the courtyard is quite exquisite; it's easy to take great photos anywhere without needing to find specific angles. I could happily spend an entire afternoon there without getting bored. The experience was fantastic!"
