GGuest UserThe courtyard is obviously well designed, with winding paths and everything you need. The room is decorated with great texture, it seems very spacious when you move in, and the bedding and bathroom are also very clean. The scenery is beautiful when sitting in the courtyard. There are rape flowers in front of you and a stream flowing in front of the door. Many students sketching are also here, which has become another scenic spot. It is very convenient to go to other parts of the village from here, as well as to climb to the top to see the whole picture of the village.
The key is that the proprietress is warm and cheerful, and some of her cooking skills are great. I had the most sumptuous and delicious breakfast here. It felt like visiting relatives and I was reluctant to leave. If vacations could be unlimited, I really want to stay here for a few months, basking in the sun, petting cats, tasting the boss lady's cooking, digging wild vegetables and bamboo shoots. It would be so beautiful.

XXiangxianghuaThe room is spacious, the lights are bright, the air conditioner is warm, and the hot water is hot! The boss and his wife are very nice and enthusiastic. Because it was raining heavily when I left, the boss even asked his wife to take me to the station in an electric car. It was a very considerate service! A very satisfying stay!

MMeowin ChanThe location was excellent, with a good view of Nanhu. The hotel arranged for someone to pick up from the carpark. The room and the amenities of the room was excellent. The reception, who was supposed to be there, was not always there. Would have been helpful if they provided a wechat contact in case there is no one at the reception. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

AAnonymous UserThe guesthouse is ideally located within the Hongcun scenic area! Turning right from the door leads to Moon Pond, and turning left leads to South Lake. It's also very close to the South Gate, rice paddies, and restaurants, all within a five-minute walk.
The rooms are bright and clean, with plenty of windows, especially beautiful during the day when the skylights are open.
The owner is incredibly kind and will pick me up from the scenic area entrance. He was also very helpful during my stay—a very helpful and handsome guy! Choose this guesthouse when visiting Hongcun!

MMLFooEverything is excellent. The owner came out to the entrance and drove our luggage to the hotel. He did the same when we left. So our big luggage bags weren’t a problem. We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. They have a washer for laundry which suits our needs. The owner also has a very quaint cafe just around the corner. We had a great time chilling there for 2 afternoons and even had dinner there. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI loved this inn and the warm welcome I received from the owner and his family. The inn is a historic Huizhou style house with a quiet courtyard; Bishan is a great village with a mix of traditional livelihoods and new cultural activity - I really want to come again in the warmer weather. Transport is spotty but the owners can help arrange cars as needed.
Note to foreign friends: No English is spoken but the hosts are very welcoming and you could get along just fine with a translation app. Come visit and experience the real Anhui!

She called me in advance to confirm my arrival time, asked about transportation to the guesthouse, and told me that it was quite dark in the scenic area at night, so her husband could pick me up. Although I navigated to the hotel myself, her suggestion was very thoughtful. When I left my luggage at the hotel in the morning, she even gave me a jar of dried roses. The guesthouse room was clean and tidy, with complete toiletries, and it was very quiet at night.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is truly amazing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its warmth and comfort. The room was exquisitely decorated, every detail revealing the owner's thoughtfulness and taste. The bed was soft and comfortable, and after a good night's sleep, I felt completely refreshed. I was also very satisfied with the host's service; they were welcoming but not overly intrusive, and their recommendations for nearby restaurants were excellent. I'll definitely stay here again! A definite five-star review! The guesthouse's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room is beautifully decorated, full of artistic flair. The host was incredibly welcoming, making our trip even more enjoyable. I'll bring my friends next time!

XxoolisaBeautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible.
The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

YYipianleierThe owner is really nice, warm and easy to talk to. You can tell he's dedicated to running the business. I'm giving this rating purely to encourage him to improve some of the issues and grow the business. The shop's ambiance is actually quite stunning, brimming with Anhui style, antique charm, and a captivating atmosphere. But I was completely surprised to see a major issue with the basic drainage system. In the shower, within seconds, water began to accumulate like a fish pond beneath my feet. Even the washbasin was severely clogged, overflowing quickly. At first, I thought it was a common problem with old Anhui-style houses, but when I asked my parents where they live, they said they had no such issue. It seems like encountering this kind of problem is really just a matter of luck; if you're unlucky, you'll just have to deal with a terrible water blockage. I hope the owner can resolve this issue quickly so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.
