Upon check-in, each room receives two complimentary adult tickets to Xidi, with each adult ticket allowing one child to enter for free. The tickets are valid for 3 days, meaning a family of two adults and two children staying here can enjoy free entry to the scenic area.
Facilities: The hotel boasts excellent facilities. The bathroom amenities and bedding are of good quality, and the decor has a charming traditional aesthetic. The complimentary items provided, such as the peach wood comb, toiletries, towels, and cotton-linen slippers, are all of high quality. It feels like you're bringing home a lot of lovely souvenirs after just one stay!
Service: The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile and patiently resolving any issues. Breakfast is quite generous, and in the evenings, they even provide complimentary chilled mung bean soup and Bingfen (a local dessert) when you return to your room.
Environment: The hotel is nestled amidst ancient architecture and traditional gardens. Staying here allows you to truly appreciate the distinctive black tiles, white walls, and blue bricks of Huizhou's ancient buildings. I only wish I could have stayed for a few more days!

As soon as I entered the yard, I was amazed. The small courtyard was full of vitality, surrounded by green plants, and the sun was particularly healing. The best thing is that there is a small vegetable garden in front of the yard, which is planted with fresh vegetables, and you can pick and burn yourself at any time. This experience is really unique!
The facilities in the room are also very intimate. In addition to the air conditioning, the room has floor heating. The bath water is super hot. After the shower, the whole body is comfortable. This detail is really a plus! In addition, you must praise the guest room dental appliances purchased by the boss. The soft hair is very comfortable and easy to use. Even these small things are so attentive and must be praised.
The location of the homestay is excellent, just in the Xidi Scenic Area, you can watch the show at night, and the atmosphere is full. And the traffic here is very convenient. It is very close to the core scenic spots of Huangshan and the surrounding Hongcun, Chengkan, Tangmo, Xucun and other ancient villages. You can drive to different places every day to play, and you don't hurry.
Finally, I strongly recommend: if the boss (Beijing Big Niu) recommends the itinerary to you, you must listen to the advice! She gave the planned route particularly smoothly, and the village/national insurance she recommended is the essence. Before and after the Lantern Festival, I listened to the boss to see Chengkan and Tang Mo's fish lamps, and went to another more primitive Wangmantian village, and watched a fish lamp feast with 300 pounds and 12 meters long inherited 600 years.
I really don't want to leave here. I will choose here next time I come to Weinan!

GGuest UserHighly recommended B&B! The location is wonderfully secluded, and the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated in a Japanese style. The courtyard is very thoughtfully designed; every photo you take turns out beautifully. Most of the staff are *******, and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Having just returned from a trip to Tibet this year, I felt an instant connection 🥰.
I especially have to mention the B&B's dinner. We originally planned to eat in Hongcun but couldn't find a restaurant we liked, so we decided to head back to the B&B (they even offer shuttle service to Hongcun!). We pre-ordered our meal with the manager, so it was ready when we got back. We ordered stinky mandarin fish, free-range chicken soup, and stir-fried eggs with stone ear fungus. Every dish was made with super fresh ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing, especially the chicken soup. It was definitely made with free-range chicken, something you just can't find in Shanghai – so delicious! The portions were generous too; we couldn't finish it all. The manager even suggested saving the rest for chicken noodle soup the next morning. Wow, such thoughtful service! They also gave us a parting gift when we left. I love the atmosphere here and every single staff member. If you're coming to Tachuan, choose to stay here – you definitely won't regret it!

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

CCharlie M DeanZhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others!
Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

CChi Kwan BrainThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

The Deputy manager Felix was most helpful, he speaks English and we also received a thoughtful parting gift of local tea. The food at Bai Yun and Ming Yue restaurants were excellent! The buffet breakfast quality and choice was top notch. We wished we stayed longer than one night! We stayed here after two nights at Huangshan Summit so the in the room wooden bath soaks was a dream. Room was very clean and spacious. Truly 5-star!

11364114****I saw this hotel on Xiaohongshu and was really drawn to its unique design and decor. Even though the room rates were high for New Year's Day, I still chose it, thinking a hotel at this price point must be excellent. Who knew, as soon as I entered the lobby, I was freezing and almost couldn't take it. How can such a large hotel in this bitter cold winter be so stingy with the heating? I asked the staff why the AC wasn't on, and their explanation was, ”It's too big, it won't get warm.” I had a million *&#% thoughts running through my head – what are you even talking about? We've stayed in plenty of big hotels; yours is at best a large guesthouse. How can it compare to a real hotel? Others can heat up their large spaces, but you can't?? Clearly, you just want to save electricity. What's even more ridiculous is that once I got to the room, the underfloor heating and AC hadn't been turned on in advance; they only started them when I arrived. When I asked why they weren't on beforehand, they said they forgot. (If you don't want to freeze to death in Huangshan, choose a warmer hotel.)
Finally, let's talk about breakfast. For a hotel at this price, the breakfast isn't even as good as an Atour. My child didn't want to eat anything; the food was very mediocre and poor quality. Seriously, avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!

GGuest UserThe Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️

LLily MorrisaThis location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.
