It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :)
Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

GGuest UserThe lady boss and the boss were very nice. They told me when we would arrive and waited for me. They took my luggage to the scenic area with a small electric car. The boss also took me to see the busy streets and introduced the route. It was very late and the boss helped me to contact a carpool to Huangshan Scenic Area. They were very enthusiastic. The hotel facilities were the same as those of chain hotels. It was also very quiet to sleep in the scenic area at night. There were no cars coming and going, only the chirping of insects and birds. The sound insulation of the houses in the scenic area was not very good.

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

GGuest UserI stayed at this inn in late March. I booked a room based on the good reviews online. The room was the same as the one in the online reviews. The inn is located in the center of the scenic area, one of the popular check-in spots. The owner personally picked us up and helped us move our luggage. He also cooked good meals. We ate at the inn at noon. The facilities in the inn are the same as those in the hotel, with good hygiene and electric blankets. The proprietress is neat and friendly. There is air conditioning and plenty of hot water.

MM11176****This guesthouse felt a bit disjointed. The exterior was very satisfactory; the old house, converted into a traditional dwelling in the quiet Bishan Village, had a particularly rustic feel. The persimmon tree in the courtyard was like a painting. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, unlike the overly salty and spicy Anhui cuisine found elsewhere. However, the rooms were somewhat basic, cramped, and slightly musty and damp. The bedding wasn't comfortable, and the hairdryer was full of debris, indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Many of the ceiling lights in the lobby were covered in cobwebs. In short, I wouldn't recommend it if you're particular about room cleanliness and facilities. However, those with less stringent requirements can enjoy the traditional house accommodations and delicious meals.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is truly amazing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by its warmth and comfort. The room was exquisitely decorated, every detail revealing the owner's thoughtfulness and taste. The bed was soft and comfortable, and after a good night's sleep, I felt completely refreshed. I was also very satisfied with the host's service; they were welcoming but not overly intrusive, and their recommendations for nearby restaurants were excellent. I'll definitely stay here again! A definite five-star review! The guesthouse's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room is beautifully decorated, full of artistic flair. The host was incredibly welcoming, making our trip even more enjoyable. I'll bring my friends next time!

GGuest UserLocation: The location is at the west gate of the scenic spot. It takes three minutes to walk to the scenic spot. There is a supermarket at the door, as well as a burger shop and a noodle shop.
Service: We came from Huangshan Scenic Area, so we called the boss in advance. The boss helped me arrange a carpool, thirty-one people, and the car was delivered to the Ximen parking lot. After arriving, the boss arranged for a boy to ride a sightseeing car to pick us up. Let's go When the time came, the little brother also sent us to the carpooling point, and the service was perfect.
Decoration: Very charming, with a tea room, the room is very good, fully intelligent, the bedding is good, and the mattress is from Jin Koer.
Overall: Warm service, highly recommended

On the way to get up early to see the scenery, I accidentally photographed the village under the sunrise. It was covered in the morning mist. It was beautiful! The boss sister is very nice and enthusiastic. If you have any questions, you will answer them one by one. The recommended restaurant is delicious and does not step on thunder. Very suitable for people who want to relax and not like to live for a few days. It is not far from the Hongcun scenic spot. It is suitable for car travel.

XXiaoshubingganI felt very warm after staying here for three days. The shop owner's sister was afraid that I couldn't find the shop and picked me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. The mother-in-law in the shop was also very nice and left some sweet plums for me to eat. It felt as warm as home. , the B&B has a history of hundreds of years. It was a former fourth-grade official residence. It is very shocking and very clean. You can really feel the strong historical atmosphere when you stay here. There are places for dining and entertainment around the B&B. You can watch the light show at night about 200 meters away, which is beautiful.

MMontmorencyThe guesthouse is near the big tree at the village entrance. If you have luggage, head north from the west gate towards the tree; otherwise, entering from the west gate requires walking along a stone path, which is inconvenient for dragging suitcases. From the small square near the village entrance, turn right at the first intersection in the alley leading to Xie Yuda Tea Shop, then turn left at the next intersection – it's about a minute walk. It's a two-minute walk from the guesthouse to the west gate. After crossing the bridge, there are many restaurants, including traditional tea shops, and barbecue stalls at night. The guesthouse is located on the back street of the main commercial area, a good location yet quiet. The owner is very kind; when we went to the main gate or west gate, the owner even came to meet us and show us the way. Although it's a guesthouse, it's very clean. We stayed on the second floor, and it wasn't damp even in autumn and winter. The bathroom isn't a separate shower and toilet, but it's quite large for a guesthouse. Overall, it's a very suitable place to stay during a trip, allowing you to get up early and experience the tranquil beauty of a southern Anhui village.
