Hotels in Liyan Station, Yilan

We chose this place for our last night of the motorcycle tour around the island. It's located relatively close to Yilan Railway Station, and there are parking spaces available for both cars and motorcycles. We were initially given a room with a leaky air conditioner, but they immediately changed it for us. The basement has a lounge, a Moonlight Treasure Box arcade machine, a dart machine, and a large TV.

This hotel is truly a fantastic place to stay! The rooms are comfortable and clean, making you feel relaxed all day long. But the real highlight is their breakfast – it's diverse, exquisitely delicious, and truly amazing. I can't stop thinking about it, it was that good! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the chef's dedication in every bite. If you're looking for an accommodation that perfectly balances quality lodging with a top-notch culinary experience, this is absolutely the perfect, must-not-miss choice. Highly recommended!

The location was a bit hard to find. There's a night market within walking distance, not far from Yilan train station. The room was very spacious, but the only drawback was that it had no window. The bathroom window was clear glass and couldn't be opened, so you had to keep the curtain closed. Breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and it was the same every day for the two nights I stayed. The staff were lovely and spoke English. The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, and two bottles of water provided daily.

It's a pretty good hotel for the price. The location is a bit noisy but the double layer windows shut it out OK. The bed was comfortable and clean and we had a nice sleep.

The toilet design is off. See photo attached. There is a big open above the toilet area where whoever is pooing inside can share the smell to outside.

Cons: The room had mismatched beds (one large, one small). The overall decor felt very dated, almost from the last century. The room lighting was dim, and the bedside outlets had low voltage, causing power banks and phones to charge extremely slowly. The bathroom was quite small, making it difficult for a larger person to turn around comfortably, and there weren't enough bath mats. Pros: The location is excellent, directly opposite Dongmen Night Market. There's a McDonald's right next door, and a laundry shop and Watsons are conveniently located nearby. They offer complimentary bicycle rentals, and we even received a thoughtful farewell gift upon check-out. The staff provided excellent service, offering a map and helpful local recommendations.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—truly beyond expectations! Every little detail kept surprising us in the best way. The level of care and thoughtfulness throughout the hotel really stood out. The room amenities were exceptional, from the Dyson hair dryer to the luxurious L’Occitane products throughout. They even provided a cute little bag for us to take everything home, which was such a thoughtful touch! What made the experience even more special was the incredible team. Every staff member, from reception to the cleaning team and activity hosts, was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. There were also countless activities for children, which made it perfect for families, while still offering great options for parents to relax and enjoy themselves too. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return again!

Overall, everything is pretty good! There are too many faucets, and it is troublesome to familiarize yourself with them all. The service attitude of the breakfast staff is very good, and the dishes are also good!

An excellent value stay! The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. Adding breakfast when booking was such a steal at only 50/person. A pleasant surprise was the lobby offering complimentary drinks, coffee, and cookies. You can even borrow bicycles to explore the hotel's surroundings at your leisure. This hotel has definitely made it onto my shortlist for my next trip to Yilan.

The room is very big, but the air-conditioning dripping at night has been continuing, it will be a bit noisy in the middle of the night, the price is very cheap, on Saturday it is CO value is not bad 👍
