This hotel is very recommended for those who choose a super comfortable 3 star hotel and a jet-king king. Make a photo” just cool too. The Gazebo Garden Restaurant is an interesting and exotic place with an open terrace with a very delicious gourmet menu. There is also the Shinta Garden for regular dinner. There is also Joglo Rama, suitable for company parties, Family memorial, and other events. Great location! The hotel is located across from the train station which actually has a number of simple eating places and a minimart. Malioboro walking street is only a block away. It is packed at night with locals and tourists out to see and be seen. There is a mall on Malioboro street about 4 blocks away with a number of simple places to eat and a grocery store. Grab is always available and can take you anywhere in town for a few $US. The room price was about $33 per night with breakfast included. Being across from the train station, the horns on the trains woke me up multiple times each night. The bed was comfortable, the TV was good, the shower had decent pressure, but the toilet had a smell. Towels and sheets were stained and showed their age. The hotel will only give you one key, so if you have two or more independent persons staying here, room access would be a headache. The is no mini-fridge. I saw no other non-indonesians except me staying here. Front desk personnel spoke English but limited. Seating at breakfast was way too limited for the number eating, and several times when I went back for more I returned to find people seated at my table and unable to communicate because of language. I just sat in any empty spot and continued eating which freaked them out although they pretended to not see me sitting there. The restaurant staff spoke no English at all so ordering eggs or drinks was tough, and I did not get what was desired a lot. The lobby, elevators, and hallways were clean and modern. I like this hotel and may stay here again based on the location and bed comfort, but will likely skip the breakfast and ask for better towels and sheets upon check-in. I will post a picture of the horribly stained chair in the room which I just covered with one of the stained towels.

So happy to back to this lovely city. Zest Hotel is always being my top priority when visit this special city. The location is very strategic, nearby city, Malioboro, Lempuyangan station etc. Zest Hotel will be your perfect accommodation choice during stay in this city. I was greet by Chacha, Rindi, and Aditya that assist during check in time. They were awesome, understand and know how to make the customer feels like home. Putra also give very quick service when i asking to deliver something to my room. The restaurant was good as always, Eka greet me with warm smile. Well, this is not my first stay at this hotel. And definitely so happy to stay again. The room was good, clean, and tidy. The Room Attendant have great hospitality. On this occasion was so special, since i went with my wife. The service was beyond my imagination, since they give us a memorable surprise in the room. Well we are not asking any special arrangement during reservation, but they did it. So touchfull ;-) Thank you Zest for always being my second home in Jogja and make our vacation more and more than happy ^_^

For a 2 person room with very minimum in-room facility, I feel like the price range is a bit too expensive. The only plus side of this hotel is that the location is indeed near Malioboro street and the staffs are friendly. Other than that, the hotel is a 'meh'. The room is a bit dusty when I first enter it, the bedcovers have spots, and one of the blanket had scratches. The hotel also didn't provide a full basic intenary (slippers, dental kit, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion). For a 420K IDR per night, that's absolutely outrageous (I only got 2 towels, 1 soap, and a little shampoo pack). There's no kettle inside the room, and I only got 2 bottle of mineral waters. I went out until past 3 PM, and my room wasn't cleaned (eventhough I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights)! And the thing that annoys me the most is that there's no phone that allow me to call the receptionist. Instead, they only had this sticker on the wall that contains the hotel WhatsApp number and LINE ID. But even with that, the receptionist didn't pick up my call when I called them to ask for something. I even tried to search their LINE ID, but it said 'this ID doesn't exist' inside the application. Overall, this hotel needs a lot of in-room facilities upgrades.

This hotel is suitable for me as a solo traveler, although the rooms are small but I like it for transit because my train at the midnight, close to Lempuyangan Station about 5 minutes by car, but not so close to Malioboro if you walk. The private bedroom with ensuite bathroom (has amenity too), a Smart TV (this is very important) and comfy bed is very good and comfortable to me compared to ”real cabin/capsul hotel”, the minus is it doesn't have a window (to outside). The price is reasonable and better if you go show to the hotel than OTA. Thank you Mr. Dedi to your hospitality !

I went with my partner for a holiday for 4 days and 3 nights. The location was good near malioboro, they have a lot of parking space too, but about the room i wont recommend it, i stayed at no.311, the ac was kinda hot for me and the bathroom was quite smelly to so it effect to the whole room especially when i going out for a whole day and came to the room the smell was quite strong for me so it makes me uncomfortable. But all the staff was so welcome and polite maybe because it's a old hotel and i unlucky to have a room like that, i don't know about any other room so i make sure to write a review about my room only.

It is really a budget hotel. The room is spacious enough for 2 people and 1 large bag. Sufficient storage space. The bed and kiss are fine and pleasant. Airco is good. Wifi is also fast. Water temperature from the shower is good. The bathroom may be put up a little. Water cooker is available on request at the bar, also fohn. I thought it was a good hotel for a short stay.

The location of the hotel is in housing complex, but, easy to find and also easy access to main street. Bedroom and bathroom is clean. Don't expect to much on the room since the size is small and they don't provide electric kettle, but you can go to the dining area to get, hot/cold water from eater dispenser. They provide breakfast but very standard menu and the taste of food should be improved. Only the toast I can accept during my stay. But, the price of this hotel is worth it. The receptionist told me that this hotel usually booked by group tour, so that they only have 1 deluxe room and 1 suite room. The other room is standard room.
