I stayed for one night with two meals included when the beach was open. With a total of 19 rooms, the hotel is small, giving the impression that it is a long-established inn that focuses on providing detailed service to its guests. I made a reservation for a shuttle to the nearest bus stop and a private bath over the phone, and I could feel the care they received.Everyone there was very kind, from the person who greeted me when I arrived, to the wait staff at the restaurant, to the person who saw me off when I left. It was a polite response. The location was very convenient as it was located along the coast in the center of Kaike Onsen, and the beach was just across the courtyard. There is also a promenade along the coast, making it a perfect place for jogging or walking. It took about 30 minutes to get to the hotel from JR Yonago Station by bus and the hotel's shuttle service (1-2 minutes), which was inconvenient as the buses were infrequent. I don't know the details because I didn't walk around the city, but as far as I looked on Google Maps, there were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, so I recommend using a car and getting breakfast and dinner. The guest room was like a business hotel with a single room costing 5,000 to 6,000 yen per night. There was no closet, clothes were hung directly on hangers on the wall, and the room was filled with a bed, massage chair, air purifier, and personal items (one night's worth of luggage). Compared to the other rooms, the single room is extremely small and feels like a forcedly made room. There were all the basic facilities and amenities such as a refrigerator, so I didn't have any problems during my stay, but to be honest, it wasn't a space where I could relax. The observation bath was small, but perhaps because some of the rooms had indoor baths, it was empty both in the morning and in the evening, so I was able to enjoy the hot springs slowly. The bathroom with a view of Mt. Daisen had a better view. Private baths require reservations for 45 minutes each time. It was nice to be able to enjoy both the barrel and indoor baths without having to worry about being seen, but since the private baths are adjacent to each other, (I think it can't be helped) you can hear the sounds and voices of the neighbors. It was a shame. Meals were served in the restaurant on the second floor both in the morning and in the evening, and the meal overlooking the ocean was amazing. Dinner was a multi-course meal with nodokuro, and everything was delicious, including the elaborate appetizers, fresh sashimi, and juicy beef. The Nodokuro was good cooked boiled, but I really wanted to simply grill it and enjoy the fatty white meat. The breakfast was well-balanced with vegetables, grilled fish, and boiled dishes, and I was satisfied with everything. Overall, I was able to fully enjoy everything other than the room, the bathroom, the food, and the staff's service was attentive. However, the price was higher than hotels of the same level, so I think the cost performance is poor. . Kaike Onsen as a whole doesn't have the feel of a hot spring town, and there's nothing to see, so I'm not sure if I'll spend the money to visit again.
