It was listed out on December 25th and someone was cleaning the trash. But when I went out on the 26th, no one cleaned the place, and the garbage piled up like a hill, which was quite unhygienic. not good.

Lovely trip to York! Travelodge was great, just a short walk to the centre of town. Nikki on reception was really helpful, she checked us in a couple of hours early for free! Really helped us out with our stay here. Definitely recommend -ideal location and lovely staff.

No lowered section on the check in desk for wheelchair users, found myself speaking to the top of the receptionists head also made it awkward for signing the fire evacuation form. We have stayed in the travelodges around the country this so called accessible room was so small. Found it hard to believe newish hotel did not have wet rooms.

Stayed overnight on a break in York. Jess and Manisha on reception were very welcoming and explained well the procedures for security and how to reach our room. Later they helped us with retrieving our inclusive Wi-Fi code that we had mislaid. They, as well as all the other staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Hot drink making facilities were good and well stocked.

We regularly stay at this Travelodge and have always found it to be clean, comfortable and a great location. However this time our room was facing the pub and I was aware of the noise late at night even when the windows were closed and we were staying for two nights. When we checked out I spoke to John, the hotel manager and he was very understanding and suggested that in future they could book me a room overlooking the river instead. I appreciated his input and advice.

We had a lovely stay here at York central rooms comfortable & very clean staff very friendly & helpful.we were so close to everything.Wetherspoons was right next door great for breakfast & evening drinks we would definitely stay here again.
