Great hotel and at a great price. The room was great and the bathroom excellent. Only problem I had in room 1 was the noice off the street, and from above in the reception area.

The location is very convenient, very close to attractions and the train station, and the price/performance ratio is very good. The housekeeper is very enthusiastic and helps with luggage. The room is also very clean, and the stay is very comfortable.

It was the 2nd time my fiancee and myself had stayed here (the 1st being 2018) and once again we had a very pleasant stay. We love the location plus the rooms and the staff were all very polite and friendly. We didn't get her name sadly but the lady on our checkout day was especially helpful and gave us some tips for future visits plus an extremely useful shortcut to the train station which we used and will always do so from now on. The only very minor negative point I can make is that the carpet in room 5 is rather co**** and is quite uncomfortable on bare feet, not ideal for when you come out of the shower. This apart we had a lovely stay and will definitely return thank you.

Hotel was really clean and well appointed. Room was recently decorated and very well appointed. Great big fridge and teas and coffees and water supplies. The bed was large and really comfortable. Lovely shower and high quality soaps and shower gels. Access to Netflix and situated on a beautiful quiet street. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Had the BEST time here at Jorvik House. Clean, AMAZING location, friendly and helpful staff and some great views over the gardens. Also, need to mention very comfy beds! We cant wait to return here and stay again. If youre reading this and unsure where to stay in York, and wanting somewhere clean and modern, in the city centre, there is nowhere else to look but here. Thanks again to everyone making our stay so memorbale!

Hotel was overall pleasant, decent room however not enough space, very humid! Staff was lovely, easy check in and the location is excellent with a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of York. There is a car park just situated behind the hotel with plenty of car parking spaces. Would stay again in the future.
