It was beautiful and comfortable! There was also a hair dryer! It's far from the center, so you either have to walk or take a bus, but there are a lot of buses, and the roads you walk on look beautiful, so I think it's a good idea.

This youth hostel is overall good one. Service is good, location is a bit far from city center and train station as well. Shower room is ok but toilet is not very clean.

It's a typical hostel, but it's cheap, clean, and the staff are kind. Difficult points are about 30 minutes walk from the station, difficult to manage valuables because it is a hostel, and no breakfast.

Het was een goed hostel, alles was schoon, aardige medewerkers. Dichtbij de stad van York op loopafstand. Het avondeten was alleen niet te eten. De pasta smaakte naar rubber en was koud, de saus was ook niet bepaald lekker en de gehaktballen waren plantaardig. Verder was het wel prima.

The staff was lovely and the accommodations were very clean and tidy. It was a very easy walk into the city center and we are glad we have the experience. The set up for the shower and toilet was tight, but it made sense if one is traveling with others who are not their family.
