I paid £95 per night for 4 nights, room only. This was really expensive for a room in the Annex, which was very mediocre. The room was dated and could do with an update. The windows struggled to open. Whilst the establishment does offer car parking, it is very limited. If you manage to get a space, there is high chance you will lose it if you take your car out. Consequently, I felt really reluctant to take my vehicle out the car park. The spaces are also very narrow and difficult to use. I wouldn’t stay here again and certainly wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have a nice car.

Room was very clean and staff was very helpful. The room is very dated and cold. Breakfast doesnt start until 8.15!

Heating in room wasn’t working. We mentioned it at reception and were told it would be nice and warm when we returned later. It wasn’t. It finally came on in the morning but even then it was barely luke warm. The mattress on the bed was hard and lumpy. No mention of the £10 parking charge upon booking either

We had a 3 night break on our first visit to York. This is a budget hotel with parking facilities at rear of building. We stayed in room 4 which on first impression was dark and dingy. The bedding could do with replacing, Lumpy pillows and duvet. Bathroom was dated but very clean. The room is at the rear of the building away from the noise of the traffic. The breakfast room is bright and cheery, as was the chef. Plenty to choose from, you will not go hungry. Perfect poached eggs every time! Good location for a walk into the city centre. Would recommend a stop off at the two pubs on the way there or back. The Crystal Palace and The Volunteer. Yes it is in need of a bit more loving care but overall value for money.

Very cosy house (older hence less eco-friendly compared to newer buildings), with a lot of charm.
Great location to head into the city centre.
Very comfortable rooms, with a good shower provided. Friends other room was comfortable too according to them.
Paid for breakfast on booking the room - served a delicious English breakfast, with very good cold options too. Good value meal too.
Very friendly staff.

とてもリラックスして落ち着ける宿です。朝食もおいしかったし、スタッフも親切です。飲み物は近くにあるストアで買えますが、夜は9時くらいに閉まります。そうなると歩いて7分ほどのスーパーに買いに行かなくてはいけません。あらかじめ買っておくことをお勧めします。また。近くにレストランは少ないです。
