The Grand is located in the middle of the town centre. It is just a 5-10mins walk from the Shambles market.
We stayed at the suite and the room was massive with two separate toilets.
We dined at the hotel main restaurant and I would describe the food as modern British with a Yorkshire twist, simply gorgeous combination.

The location of the hotel is perfect, because it gets you to the train station in less than 5 minute walk, and it’s 5 mn walk from the York Minster and the city center, without the business of the central streets. The rooms are very spacious, and (surprisingly) modern! The spa could use some renovation, but I think this is the best option in York :)

The hotel is great. The location is great. It's convenient to go everywhere. It's just walking distance. The room space is also very good. The facilities are very good. The service is very good. I will choose this hotel again if I come back!
