Stayed here many of times when in York. A beautiful guest house with wonderful decorated rooms and convenient location with the added bonus of parking. The owners are super friendly and assist with your every need. I’d never think of staying everywhere else.

Accommodation clean and comfortable, parking meant to be free but I got a ticket as they noted my registration down when I checked in. I now have a bill for £78/105 and they refused to contact/reply to me to discuss. Formal complaint in.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was spacious and well appointed. There was an ample supply of tea, coffee and milk and accessories. Breakfast the following morning was excellent, not just plentiful, but everything was freshly made, This is a very convenient place to stay to explore York on foot as the on street parking can be busy and can be tricky to negotiate.

Stayed here last night with my daughter. Room lovely and very clean, breakfast amazing, great choice of food, owners very welcoming and lovely to speak to. Stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Phil and Theresa made us so welcome and we will be definitely be back whenever we visit York. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast tasty and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble. And they made our stay extra special with fizz and chocolates in the fab outside space with a hot tub for my partner's 60th. Thank you!

This was the first time that we’ve stayed here & it won’t be the last. Hosts were very friendly & welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them & the breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever eaten. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. 10 minutes stroll into the city centre so ideally situated.

From start to finish our experience of this guest house has been excellent, all staff were very pleasant and helpful. Parking was no problem in all the time we were there. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee, with bottled water in the fridge. Breakfast was fabulous, everything that you'd want and plentiful too. A ten minute stroll into York makes this guest house ideal. We would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Friendly and safe places. The location is perfect, closed train station, city centre. The breakfast is very good and a lot. The staff very helpful. The room clean and the mattress was good. I left my suitcase after checkout until my train departed.

Very good value for money. Excellent location 10 min walk in to the centre. Very clean, modern decor, super comfy bed, delicious breakfast, free parking and lovely friendly hosts! What more could you want! We will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay.
