Location: It is some distance away from Yufuin Station. The hotel does not provide shuttle service. It costs about 850 yen by taxi, or about 25 minutes' walk. You can directly follow the instructions on Google Maps to find the hotel location, and there is no problem of being unable to find it. Room: The hotel has ten rooms, each with an outdoor private bath and high privacy. Although there is a certain degree of aging, the small house has a very large space for activities, including a Japanese-style room, a bedroom with floor-to-ceiling glass, a bathroom with separate dry and wet areas, a bathtub and an outdoor hot spring bath. The room also provides free yukata, clogs and tea bags. Staff: Although the staff did not speak English very well, they were very patient and enthusiastic in treating us. Because it was a one-stop hotel with two meals, they would call the room to remind us every time it was close to meal time, and they would be waiting at the door. Meal: Overall good, I believe the meal will change depending on the season. Since I don’t eat sashimi, the hotel thoughtfully arranged another dinner for me.
