Sansou Shikian

A traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel. On the day of check-in, there were staff who spoke Mandarin and were very friendly. The hotel has a quiet environment and free parking service! The rooms have private baths, and some rooms even have open-air private baths!

A great experience. The stay and 2 food package is super value for money. The dinner portion is generous and the breakfast buffet is also delicious with local specialties!

The environment is beautiful and close to nature. If you like suburban places, it is worth recommending. The only thing is that the hotel is relatively remote. The room has an independent hot spring and is spacious. Rich dinner and breakfast. The staff are helpful, friendly and courteous.

Suitable for self-driving The location is a ten-minute drive from Yufuin and there are enough parking spaces. The service is attentive, and dinner at 6:30 is a roast beef meal, which is rich. I went to the open-air bath at about seven o'clock, but there was no one there. Most people stayed in their rooms to enjoy their private baths. The waiter helped take family photos and printed the photos for me when checking out.

It wasn't the room I wanted, but since no one was using the shared bath, I used it as a private bath. downtown? The downside is that it takes a long time to get out. It's great if you rent it. There's no parking fee.

The hotel is in the mountains and is more suitable for self-driving tours. The hot spring area is small but has a primitive feeling of nature. The check-in location is all uneven and the stone roads are not convenient for carrying suitcases. We have to make our own bed at night. We were not given a choice for dinner and had to eat chicken. But the meat is very tough and not suitable for cooking. You have to stay for the second night before you can have options.

It's a shame that the shower facilities are outside, but the staff are really friendly. I had to leave Yufuin by car first thing in the morning, and they helped me from 6 a.m. Thank you very much.
