I booked a total of two rooms based on the previous reviews; overall satisfied! It’s the closest to Atami, so I took the Yuyu bus near the station to Atami Castle and checked it out!

I made a reservation right away after watching the drama Minato Boss Coin Laundry. I was asking about the drama, but it was a little disappointing that the staff didn't know. However, I was happy to be able to enjoy Omcheon wearing the yukata that the actors wore. Although it is an older ryokan, it is relatively clean and maintained. The meal was especially delicious. It's a bit far from the station, but you can take the free shuttle bus.

A traditional Japanese-style hotel with a large room. You have to go to the public bathroom to take a shower. It ends at 12 o'clock in the evening. There is tea and snacks in the room. The hotel is a bit old, but it is still good. Compared with hotels in urban areas in Japan, it is very comfortable here. Yes, check out in the morning at 9:30/10:00/10:30. There is a car that will take you to the subway station and help you with your luggage. The service is super good.

There is no bathroom in the room, but you can take a bath and soak in the public bathhouse. It is far from the subway station and it takes a lot of effort to walk there, but there is a shuttle bus to Atami during the day. The staff are very friendly, including grandparents and middle-aged employees.

It is an old-fashioned hot spring inn. The bath is small. The clear water leaves a moist feeling after bathing. The hot spring town feels deserted.

The breakfast is rich and the service is attentive.

It can be seen that it is a hot spring hotel with a sense of age. The staff are mainly enthusiastic grandparents, and all the services that should be provided are available, including breakfast and dinner! !

This was my first ryokan visit so take what I say with a grain of salt. First, the staff was very accommodating and nice. Their English was limited but they went out of their way to make sure we were welcome including coming to our room to show us how to set up our futon. Dinner was amazing with so many items. Here again, the staff took their time to show us the items. The room was also very nice and authentic - the floor was covered by tatami mats and we slept on futons which were very comfortable.

Breakfast & Dinner were awesome! But there is no bus to take from Yugawara station :)

The food is always great. The hot water is good too. There was trash left beside the hotel parking lot. Please clean it up every day.

It had been a while since we last visited a hot spring with our family, so we decided to come here. We were very satisfied with both the bath and the food, and had a relaxing time.

The rock bath is the best! It's a fantastical structure that would be unthinkable today. It's especially great when there's sunlight. Depending on how you look at it, it's like the world of Indiana Jones!

Since the hotel is close to nature, I hate bugs, so I was prepared for bugs to be in the room, but I never saw any bugs in the room I stayed in. Not only the room but also the bathroom was very clean, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The breakfast was also very delicious, thank you very much.

It seems to be an old building, but it was generally well-cleaned and there was nothing to be concerned about. It would have been a comfortable stay if it hadn't been for the cigarette smell the moment I entered the room. I read in a review that there was a smoking area in the building, so I assumed that the rooms would be non-smoking, even though it didn't say that they were non-smoking, and made a reservation. I would return if the cigarette smell wasn't so strong. It would be nice if they also prepared non-smoking rooms. The only meal included was breakfast, but it was a lot to eat, and it was delicious. I was especially happy with the soup with chunks of taro. I stayed in a room with a toilet, but the shared toilet and bathroom were very clean. It was also a nice service to have a private bath (with natural hot spring water) for free. The garden is also lovely. On the way back, I used the shuttle bus to the station.
