Hotel Porto

Do not book here if you want a clean hotel. We started with a request for a double bed, which we did not get. The air conditioning does not work, only warm air at 25 degrees. The bathroom is the worst I have ever seen in a hotel, the shower head didn't work and were leaking all over the shower, there was also a lot of mold, the bathroom also smelled horrible, the shower door was completely broken so the bathroom got completely wet. The rooms were not cleaned, it was really rancid, only the towels were changed every 2 days. Wherever there were black and long hair, me and my girlfriend have blonde hair so it can't have come from us, on the sofa bed there were all white spots, the location of the hotel was also nothing at all, you are on an industrial estate, where there is a bus service garage. and a parcel service that works 24/7, so a lot of noise when you try to sleep, the walls are also made of paper, I could just hear the neighbors talking. The breakfast and buffet are also nothing at all, on some days there was not even a buffet due to the number of guests we paid for the buffet and not for a plate of fries and a piece of meat, which was all way too salty, there were ants with the food, which was absolutely not appetizing, and the restaurant is in a cellar, you just feel like you are there in a barracks the wifi is also so bad. it is just not a 3 star hotel so my conclusion do not book here there are so many nicer locations in Zadar than Hotel Porto this is not worth 470 euros for 5 nights

Good morning, my name is Checca Gatone. I stayed at the hotel for 1 night in October 2023 with a school group. There is little to write about the hotel: sad, isolated, indifferent. A note instead regarding the culinary delicacies, so good that they triggered a serious form of Cagottum Impestatum in several members of the said group. Regarding the quality of the food, numerous and serious doubts arise, which it is preferable not to explore further. Good day

Stayed here on a tour. The room was spacious and there was plenty of room to spread out a suitcase. Facilities were minimal. The sheets had stains. There were a few bugs, probably due to the season, so be careful if you don't like them. Water pressure was fine. Hairdryers are available at the front desk. A large supermarket is about a 5-minute walk away. It was open until 10pm, but the streets were dark at night, so it's a little scary for women to walk alone. There is traffic on the main road. The breakfast has a limited selection, but the taste is average. Overall, it's enough if you just want to sleep.

We chose this hotel in the dark but at least on paper it seemed convenient for the ferries and so it was, so we recommend it. You don't have to have who knows what expectations but the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was varied and plentiful, if you want you can have a buffet dinner in the hotel at a really good price with equally good dishes. Large car park with the possibility of electric charging.
