This bungakow is located at a quiet area close to Kazakhstan embassy. It’s a nice 15-min stroll to the shopping district of Ilica. You may take a Uber for €4. There are 2 spacious heated bedrooms with 2 spacious heated separate bathrooms just outside the rooms located on the 2nd floor. Each bathroom is designated for each room so it’s next to the designated room. There is no sharing of bathroom. The host has a 3rd bedroom in case the guests are a family and require a second room meaning there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which can be rented as “2 bedrooms + 1 bathroom” and “1 bedroom + 1 bathroom”. There are heater and Aircon (works as cooling and heating) in the room which in an extreme cold weather, both heater and Aircon (for heating) could be turned on simultaneously. The owner stays on the 3rd floor and her beautiful living and dining room is at the basement overlooking a backyard garden. This area is like a mini botanical garden which gives it a WOW factor with a traditional fireplace in the living room and many plants surrounding the dining room and living room. It’s extraordinarily beautiful! It makes one feel so comfortable and unwilling to leave. For toiletries, only liquid shower & hand wash are provided. Hair dryer is provided. Breakfast is delicious and extensive. There are ample free car parks in front of the gate. WiFi is available. Host is exceptionally friendly, helpful, very responsive and generous. The place particularly the host, leaves an unforgettable sweet memories in my decades of travelling. Highly recommended.

The B&B Embassy Row was the first stop on our tour of Croatia - and it got our vacation off to a brilliant start! The landlady Nadia gave us a warm welcome with lots of hospitality, a glass of wine and finger food. From the very beginning, she gave us the feeling that we were welcome in her house and that we were welcome to use the rooms outside our room. We did just that and enjoyed the warm summer evenings on the terrace with a view of the greenery. The house is also furnished with great attention to detail and conveys a very special attitude to life: overflowing bookshelves, a lush green oasis in the winter garden, an open kitchen-living room - all of this gave you the feeling of being a guest at a friend's house. The location is also convenient: on a slope and in the middle of the greenery, with many embassies in the neighborhood. It's a bit of a walk into the city center, but you can use the path to explore Zagreb's wonderful parks. For people who don't like walking so much, there is a tram stop nearby. Our previous speakers have already written a lot about breakfast, we can't add anything more except: it's simply wonderful to wake up to the smell of freshly baked madeleines! We personally recommend Embassy Row 100 percent!

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im B & B Embassy Row auf unserer Rundreise durch Slowenien und Kroatien. Diese Unterkunft gehört zu den Höhepunkten unserer Reise. Das Haus, eine Bauhaus-Villa aus den Zwanziger Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts, ist geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail von der reizenden Gastgeberin eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr sauber und die Betten sehr gut. Es gibt einen Stellplatz für 2 Fahrzeuge neben dem Haus. Das Stadtzentrum von Zagreb ist knapp 2 km entfernt. Den Hang hinab gibt es aber nach etwa 500 m eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Nadia überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit frisch zubereiteten Köstlichkeiten, wobei sie besonders auf Nachhaltigkeit und gesunde Ernährung achtete. Ein Highlight war ihr Rührei mit Trüffeln. Wir haben selten eine so freundliche und herzliche Gastgeberin erlebt.
