I would not stay again at Ryokan Sanjiro. I booked because it had positive reviews on other sites, but now I see those were mostly from day-trippers visiting the public onsen or the restaurant. Next time I visit Zao, I'll choose a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness. The price was $200 AUD per person per night, and I would never stay there again at that price. I might consider staying at Sanjiro again if it was $50 AUD per person per night.

観光案内所から徒歩ですぐ。リーズナブルに日帰り入浴できました。入湯税含め¥900でした。サウナと露天があります。シャンプー等の設置もあり、個人的には設置されてる酒粕パックみたいなのがお肌ツルツルになり気に入りました。日帰り入浴は宿泊と入口が別れてるので宿泊客にとっても悪い気しないのでは⁉︎女性の露天風呂、外壁の隙間から外の人に見えてしまわないか心配しながら入ってました。大丈夫なんでしょうけど、そこだけもう少し隠して改善いただけると心配事なくのんびり浸かれるんですけど笑。スキー場帰りに利用したいです。

先日日帰り温泉を利用致しました。今までになく信じられない接客を頂きました。この日は大人3名で伺いましたが、娘は体調不良のため大人2名でお願いしますと、案内係のおば様にお伝えしました。私の後についてきた主人と娘を見ながら、えっ？大人の方3名ですよねっとのご返答。いえ、娘は入浴しませんので大人2名になりますと、再度同じことをお伝えしました。ただ、すいませんが娘は車内で待機しますので、お手洗いだけ貸して頂けませんか？と打診致しました。そうしますと同じ方が、入館料を支払って下さいと。お手洗いを一度使わせて頂くだけで入館料をお取りになるのでしょうか？入浴棟に一歩でも足を踏み入れる、はイコール入館料に直結なのでしょうね。昨今はコロナ禍になりますので、そうですかそうですかと自分を納得させましたが、その後の入浴場へ行って驚きでした。コロナ感染を懸念し、人数を区切っての入浴を多くのホテルや旅館等が行っていらっしゃる中で、お風呂場には20名をこすのでは？と思われる程の人の数。脱衣場も衣服置き場の籠が、間隔をあけているわけでもなく配置され、呆れました。お風呂の温度管理も全くされていらっしゃらないのか、風邪をひくのではと思わせるレベルの低温度の湯。決して露天ではなく内湯での話です。入館にはほど厳しい対応にも関わらず、杜撰極まりないお風呂場の管理･･･貴館には二度と出向くことはありませんが、機械的なものの発言しかされない？出来ない？接客スタッフの対応に感心しました。遠刈田温泉の他施設は、本当に素晴らしいお宿ばかりですので、違った意味で目立つという素敵なお宿です。

初めての遠刈田温泉。 宿はいい感じの山間にあり大自然に満ち溢れていました。 檜風呂付の客室を予約したのですがこれが家族含めて大好評でした。 客室数の少ない宿ですが完全に密を避けてお風呂にはいれるのは安心できます。 何よりお風呂からの眺めがよかったです。 お風呂もありますがこちらは深夜から朝までは入浴不可。 その点客室内のお風呂は深夜も入れて普段は寝ているであろう時間にあえて入浴し非日常を満喫。 温泉もよかったですが食事もよかったです。 仙台牛のステーキにしゃぶしゃぶと贅沢させていただきました。 古い宿なので建物設備が痛んでいる個所もありますが気にはならないレベル。 従業員さんのおもてなしも温かみがあり家庭的な感じがしてよかったかな…と。 駐車場の場所がちょっと不便なので足腰が悪い方が連れにいる場合は苦労するかも。
