Hotel Enzian by Alpeffect Hotels

We stayed in a group of 12 including three kids and the hotel could not have been more accommodating! All of the waiting and bar staff are a great asset to this hotel, very friendly, kind and helpful, we really enjoyed all of your company. The bar area is great with lots of comfy seats to enjoy the evenings, drinks were not a bad price and lots of choice (also pizzas very good in the bar!). The pool and spa area was great fun also and a great way to spend an hour after skiing. This hotel was perfect for our skiing holiday. It’s great location in a beautiful and traditional resort and village, we loved it. The rooms were a good size, plenty of hanging space, warm, cosy and the beds super comfortable. The shower was hot and a good pressure and a heated floor which was lovely. The rooms have balcony’s which is a great feature. My only small negative was a few of the meals in the evenings. There were some rather odd combinations (apricot in pasta- what is this about?!) and the quality of some of the meals was not good. Also the portion sizes were small for some things and flavours were often repeated. That being said the salad buffet, cheese boards, starters, afternoon tea and breakfast were all great, as were 50% of the main meals such as the duck, steak and garlic mushroom pasta! Think there were just some rouge main meals in there. Would definitely stay here again as we had a great time so thank you to everyone :)
