The hotel is very clean and the service is very good👍🏻I also enjoy the spa area very much. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off from the train station. I highly recommend the Matterhorn view room.

Wir haben unseren 5-tägigen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, das Zimmer war ein Highlight, die Lage des Hotels mit der einmaligen Terrasse (Aussicht) nicht zu überbieten. Das Personal immer präsent und hilfsbereit. Auch kulinarisch hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Familie Metry und Mitarbeiter. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wir haben es wieder total genossen, sind verwöhnt worden von Ihnen. Das essen und der Wein war g hervorragend, dann bekamen wir auch ein tolles Eckzimmer mit Matterhornblick und ganz kurzfristig wurden uns sogar noch Massagen organisiert. Wir kommen wieder!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was amazing and so kind. The views were incredible! Food was also incredible including the breakfast included with the stay!! We had to leave super early our last day for a train and they even packed us breakfast bags for the go which was so sweet and made our early morning easy and delicious! Only complaint is the shower. I don’t know if all rooms have it but it’s just a handheld shower head on the wrong side making it difficult to shower and get water all over the floor. So some shower updates and this place would be perfection!

My husband and I just returned from the Schonegg Chalet Hotel in Zermatt. It is our favorite place to stay and we had an amazing Ski trip! Their accommodations are top notch; Best views of the Matterhorn both from our room and their lovely Infinity Terrace, extremely comfortable beds and linens, spacious bathroom, plenty of closet and storage space, and a lovely balcony to admire the Matterhorn with a glass of wine or morning coffee. We ate at both their amazing Restaurant Saveurs, as well as their Bar Uncorked, and the food was excellent! The Valais Coq au Vin, Pasta dishes, appetizers, Hokkaido pumpkin with porcini mushrooms, Winter Salad, and desserts were exquisitely prepared and their wine list was fabulous. And the Hotel even surprised me with a Birthday Cake in our room when we checked in, on my Birthday! Thank you everyone and we look forward to returning!

A very charming hotel with lovely features. From the dining room woodwork to the spa facilities everything is first class. The location offers excellent views of Zermatt. The service and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is delightful. We can't wait to come back next year.

Excellent séjour comme toujours. Le dîner du soir était parfait. Nous avons adoré les tartares de coquilles St Jacques et de sandre ainsi que le ceviche. Le personnel est remarquable, très professionnel et vous accueille toujours avec un sourire.

Tout était parfait comme d'habitude, y compris au restaurant. C'est pourquoi je pense revenir l'an prochain pour la 30ème année. Félicitations pour ce bel effort collectif en famille et cette qualité constante depuis 1995. Le personnel se dit par ailleurs très content de travailler à l'hôtel.
