There was no refrigerator, so I had to eat what I bought immediately, but the hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious!

Excellent 3-star hotel with comfy and clean room. It is simple to go around by foot, and the station is only a 10-minute walk away. Booked a room with a spectacular view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff is attentive.

Von dem Moment an, als wir die Lobby betraten, wurden wir vom netten Personal herzlich begrüßt, das uns sofort das Gefühl gab, zu Hause zu sein. Man spürt, dass dieses Hotel von den Eigentümern mit Herz und Seele geführt wird, was sich in jedem Detail widerspiegelt. Die Zimmer sind schmuck und bieten eine schöne Aussicht, die jeden Morgen zu einem wahren Vergnügen macht. Die gute Ausstattung des Zimmers ließ keine Wünsche offen und die Sauberkeit war makellos, was heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich ist. Der Service war durchweg toll; das Personal war aufmerksam und ging auf alle unsere Bedürfnisse ein. Und das große Frühstücksbuffet war jeden Morgen ein Highlight – eine köstliche Auswahl, die für jeden Geschmack etwas bot. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und wir können dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der Wert auf Qualität, Komfort und eine persönliche Note legt.

We stayed at the Phoenix in April 2024 for our family ski trip, the hotel was well placed for walking to the train stations to get up the mountain and for walking into town in the evenings. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. We had a good view of the Matterhorn from our ground floor room.

You couldn’t find a better staff, honestly. Everyone who worked there was so polite and helpful and the hotel is small enough, that the workers really made you feel important. The rooms were bigger than you would expect, with amazing views. The location is very central which is amazing for getting to the lifts and exploring the town.

Brilliant property and walking distance from Train station. The staff are amazing and friendly. Breakfast is the best I have seen for long time. Couldn’t recommend this hotel higher.

Lovely hotel very well located in Zermatt at about 10 minutes from the train station. Amazing variety of cheese and very complete breakfast. The room with a Matterhorn view had just an incredible view. The staff is always very nice and helpful.

Tolles, super geführtes Hotel mit herausragendem Frühstück. Laurence und Denis sind sehr freundliche, zuvorkommende Gastgeber, dasselbe gilt für die kompetenten, liebenswerten Mitarbeiter. Besonderes Lob an die Rezeptionistin Jolanda. Gute Hotellage, Nähe Bahnhof und Bushaltestelle. Wir kommen seit Jahren und fühlen uns immer bestens aufgehoben. Macht weiter so! Werner/Kay W.
