The room I booked was more expensive, so it was good. Because it was a room with a Matterhorn view, I didn’t have to go to the street to watch the sunrise. The Matterhorn could be seen from the terrace. The room was larger than expected and had all the facilities. Very complete.

Home of Matterhorn. We had reserved their rooms with view of this beautiful mountain. We stayed for 3 nights. The entire staff is great. Special mention of Mats, who helped me every single day on planning the day and other things. He is a charming personality and very dedicated to his work. The room we selected is large with a good size balcony. Rooms, bathrooms are very nice. And Beds very comfortable. In every aspect an excellent hotel. I am putting pictures taken from my Balcony

Another great stay in the Perren. It may say that it is 3 stars, but that is only because it doesn't have the facilities you would expect of a 5-star establishment, such as a pool/spa. The room was perfectly lovely, spacious enough and well-maintained. Breakfast was also nice enough and we were never left wanting for anything. A great place to stay in Zermatt if you are on a bit of a budget - well a budget that still allows you to stay in Zermatt.

I think this is our third or fourth trip to the Perren (I lose count). It ticks all our boxes for a ski hotel. It is close to the lift (approximately 150m to the Sunnegga lift), a good ski hire shop is directly opposite the lift, it is only a short walk to the village and some of the best Zermatt restaurants, the rooms are clean and warm and the beds are comfortable. The staff are welcoming, helpful and efficient and the breakfast was perfectly good. No doubt we'll be back for our fourth/fifth trip (whichever it is).

I’ve been to Perren on multiple occasions. Great experience as always. But there are 2 things that I wish would return back to how they were:
1) The open-plan ski room was better: the lockers do not any value since they do not have a lock but just take space. It is very inconvenient to put a snowboard in.
2) Breakfast was better before. I really liked the selection of dried meats and an option to make soft-boiled eggs which are now gone. The selection of tees improved.
