We just spent a week at the Alex Lodge with our family while skiing at Zermatt. The accommodations were ideal. The apartment was clean, comfortable and met our needs. The lodge was away from the center of town, but conveniently located near the gondola. Some days we took the bus to ski, other days we walked. Our host, Pamela, was helpful with all of our needs and generously provided bread for our breakfast each morning. We highly recommend staying here and will return!

We rarely write reviews, but felt like we needed to do so here. The apartment and downstairs spa were perfect for our family of 4 (two teenagers). The location was also perfect for mountain access as well as walking down into town (an easy downhill) for dinner, etc. The hosts (Pamela and Alex) are absolutely fantastic and made us feel extremely welcome. Cannot recommend the Alex Lodge enough!

We were fortunate enough to stay at Alex Lodge for a long weekend and the place is exceptional. Pamela and Alex are perfect hosts and their accommodation is beautiful. The spa area is beautiful and they made us feel very at home. Cannot recommend the place more highly. It’s beautiful.
