The last time I stayed at an intercontinental hotel with such a large garden was in Tahiti in the South Pacific! I didn’t expect that Nantong would give me such a big surprise! The room type I originally booked was already very large. Due to lung problems, I needed a room with better ventilation. They upgraded me directly to a suite. I was not impatient throughout the whole process. I have a really strong sense of service, whether it is the reception at the front desk or the executive floor and WeChat. The guest relations service staff focuses on being responsive to all requests, and the garden greening design is first-class. Although it is connected to the park next to it, the garden environment in the hotel is the best nearby. There is no need to go out at all, you can just take a walk or run in the morning! There was a small incident in the middle. The laundry department left ballpoint pen marks on my clothes. The hotel did not shirk its responsibility and asked me to send it back for reprocessing until I said that the new hotel had cleaned it for me! The only thing I don't like is that InterContinental manages the gym by a third party, and the facilities and ventilation environment are not up to the standards of a five-star hotel! But it does not affect their service! Thumbs up to all the hotel staff for a perfect four days of work and vacation!

The girl at the front desk was good. We also sent two bottles of water before leaving, so that we could drink on the road.
The Huazhu brand is getting better and better now. The Hanting I live in Turpan, Xinjiang uses LG's washing machine and dryer. In Nantong, it is still LG's washing machine and dryer. It means that the group is publicly purchasing, so that guests can use really good products. By the way, We also use LG's washing machine at home. I feel very kind to hear the bell at the end of the task.
In the hotel of the Huazhu brand, it should be said that it is more assured about hygiene. In the hotel of the economical to comfortable grade, if the Huazhu brand says that his facilities are second, there is no hotel that dares to say that he is first.
Living very well, very happy, eating is OK. I don't give it easily with five points of praise, the last time I gave a hotel in Guiyang. The current house price has tripled, and I regret it.

The overall experience of the hotel is quite satisfactory. After all, it is the first leader in Nantong to adopt an intelligent system. The design of the lobby is quite stylish, and Zhu Guiqin's service at the front desk is not bad. Although the elevator is shared by many, it does not affect my staying experience. On the contrary, I can take a look and visit the room department of other stores to experience the different hotel style. The hygiene of the room is quite good, and it is not as exaggerated as in the comments. I personally can accept it. The toilet is smart, the floor belongs to the middle section, and the street view outside Zhongnan is still great. The style of room decoration varies. The room attendants are very friendly. It will be the first choice for designated receptions in the future.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Zhangjiagang on a business trip and found this hotel by accident. I stayed for one night with the mentality of giving it a try, and stayed decisively the next day.
The environment outside the hotel is very good, the room is also very carefully arranged, clean and odorless, the sisters at the front desk are very polite, a large box of couriers is just rushing to help me deliver to the room, I am embarrassed. The location is a bit away from the central area, but it is just right for people like me who like quiet. Next time I come to Zhangjiagang, I will choose Luming Hotel!

The hotel is new and clean, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk is super good, the twin room has two 1.35-meter beds, which is also very nice, and the free laundry service is also very good. Two breakfasts are included with the booking, and we are two adults and one child, and we didn't ask for extra money. The latest check-out time is 3 o'clock, which is also great. Finally, I have a small suggestion for improvement, that is, it is recommended that the room include a large non-woven or plastic bag like other hotels, on which the hotel name can be printed, so that it is convenient for travelers to pack dirty clothes, and it can also play a promotional role. At the end of the check-out, the lady at the front desk also gave a small gift. Although it is not a valuable thing, it reflects the hotel's thoughtfulness.

KKazzy travelerZhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv.
I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this.
Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app.
Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

The only thing is that there is only wine on display, and other wines need to be consulted. The breakfast has a good standard. Fresh fruits, Chinese noodles, eggs to customers choice and many more is offered. A small gym let you train a bit (could be bigger!). The restaurant is opened till 10:30pm and provides some tasty snacks when the work day lasts a bit longer and the nearby restaurants in the shopping mall are already closed. The Starbucks in the mall opens at 06:30 and is just a 7 minutes walk away.
