Zhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv. I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this. Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app. Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

The service attitude is really very good👍. I stay here every time I go on a business trip. The surrounding facilities are also very complete, the environment is also very good, very convenient, and I will recommend it to my friends.

Very please with the service provided by the rececption team. Specially thank Xu Lin for her extra mile in getting the shoe repaired within 15 minutes. It is totally beyond my expectation. I am in China in various cities. This is the first time I meet such a dedicated service staff. Good service.

The room is large, but since it is an old hotel, the bathroom is small and smells a bit. Breakfast is a specialty of Jinling. It is very rich. The noodle stalls include fried fish and braised meat, and the cold dishes include beef and jellyfish. Although it is the Spring Festival, since Zhangjiagang is not a popular city, the hotel does not increase the price. There is welcome fruit every day, 2 bottles of drinks in the small refrigerator are free, and 2 bottles of homemade yogurt are given as a gift on the day of check-out. The service attitude is very good and the hotel is very cost-effective. It should be noted that the height limit of underground garages is 1.6.

The location is good, only ten minutes away from the old street. There is a snack bar and a bus stop downstairs. Transportation is more convenient. The room is also better soundproofed. The most attentive thing is that earplugs are provided, and the facilities are relatively new. Spacious, comfortable and classy

Another perfect stay at this hotel. Only drawback for me when you travel with colleague from work is the stupid sink in the room instead of the bathroom. Not convenient at all.

The room is very large, and the wet and dry bathrooms are separated. The bathroom is on the other side of the wall, quite invisible, and the space is very large. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are super beautiful~ The attitude of the staff is very good. The girl at the front desk has a very good service attitude. If I have any questions, I will go to the front desk and she will answer them patiently. Because I stayed for two nights in a row, breakfast was provided for both days. There are also many varieties of breakfast, with various choices, including freshly cooked wontons and Yangchun noodles; and I would also like to praise the staff at the breakfast restaurant~ The aunties in the restaurant have a very good attitude. At that time, I was in arrears on my mobile phone and could not connect to the Internet. They They also cared about me and helped me connect to the hotel's internet🫰, which felt very cordial. The disadvantage is that this is a new hotel, and the room smells of newly renovated formaldehyde, but the smell disappears after opening the windows for ventilation for a few hours, which is acceptable.

I came back to Zhangjiagang from the United States and stayed in the Executive Deluxe Suite on the 35th floor of Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel. It is worthy of being the best hotel in Zhangjiagang. The afternoon tea and evening cocktails in the Executive Lounge are great! There are also many choices for free breakfast for guests of the Executive Suite. The room is very large, and the whole wall of floor-to-ceiling glass has a wide view. 5-star praise. I will stay here next time!

The suite room I booked is spacious, clean and hygienic. The food in the Chinese restaurant is delicious. Customers' needs are met and the response is quick. Overall, I am quite satisfied with everything. The price/performance ratio is quite high. I will recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is very new and grand, with new facilities, good service, and cleanliness. The front desk service was thoughtful and gave me the feeling of a star hotel. The bedding was also very good and I slept very comfortably. I will come again next time
