The hotel is quite simple, the isolation is not so good, but the heating works well. For the price you pay, you cannot ask for more. Our stay went well. They were always there to help us with anything we needed. They were very kind. The location is good to get to Tianmenshan on foot and to Zhangjiajie national park by bus since the bus station is only 5-10 min walking from the station. See photos of beautiful places nearby.

Nice hotel, good location very close to cable cars and street with lots of restaurants and street food. Very clean and warm.

The owner of the inn is very kind, accomodating and helpful. She booked our Tianmen Mountain tickets, took us to a good Chinese restaurant, and booked our car going back to Zhangjiajie Railway Station. She also gave us directions on how to navigate Tianmen Moutain, checked on us every now and reminded us to be down the mountain at 11:30am so we won’t miss our 2:00pm train. When we entered the inn, we were mesmerized as it has a welcoming ambiance. We love all the wood designs and carvings. They also offered us tea and heated blankets. We booked the Fairy room and it surpassed our expectation. It is nice and cozy, everything is made of wood. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom has basic toiletries. There is also a heater that is so easy to operate, just like an AC. We absolutely loved our stay. We can’t wait to bring our family next time we come to Zhangjiajie. Definitely worth the money!

Spend two nights here and I can totally recommend the hotel! Next to the cable car and it’s easy to take a taxi to the national car. Great und helpful owner who even gave me some of their own harvested oranges as a present! Thx a lot!!

Yang Mi was an exceptional host who truly went above and beyond for us. The rooms and decor exuded a rainforest vibe, creating a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her hospitality was outstanding, and she made every effort to ensure we had the best experience possible. I especially appreciated the family-oriented nature of the inn—sitting down with them for tea and fruit, sharing stories late into the night, was unforgettable. I feel like I left a piece of my heart at Hetianwan Inn.

The staff were super helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. Whether I needed recommendations or had a random request, they were always happy to help. The service was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfy—just what I needed after a day out. You can really tell they care about their guests. Overall, Hetianwan Inn is a great place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it and will be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay. All though we did not spend much time at the hotel/room, it was a very nice place to rest between activities. The host was very friendly and helpful. She gladly gave us advice on where to eat and how to book tickets for the national parks.

It’s an ideal location to travel, especially because Tianmen Mountain is so close and if you use the cableway it’s a short walk from the hotel. The bus station to and from Zhangjiajie National Forest is also within walking distance, making it perfect to travel distances for cheap! The vibe in the room is cabin like. There is hot water and a heater in the room, but it takes time to warm up. The shower has no curtain so everything in the restroom gets wet. Overall, not a bad experience if your main goal is to travel and be out and about. The hosts were friendly and suggested places to go when I first arrived.

Very friendly and helpful family! They even helped me to organize the tickets and showed me the best routes for all the spots! Highly recommended!

The hotel is very nice , close to the bus station for zhangjiajie and the point for take the cable car to tianmen , the woman who work there is really warm and she will help you in everithing , she makes me feel very Welcome , one of the best places to stay in china

The most welcoming hosts I've had in my trip in China. So warm and welcoming, I wish I could've stayed longer. Do not miss the opportunity to stay here. It's at a great location, rooms are clean and a great hot shower. The host and her family are simply amazing. Also great in giving advice for the trips you want to do in the city and around the area and they're always on standby on WeChat to help you out if you're on one of your trips around.

Very charming place with a very charming lady who help us a lot on our trip to Tianmenshan. Definitely I would stay over again. Highly recommended.
