客棧在武陵源西門旁邊的山腳下。從客棧步行到西門大概需要15分鐘。空氣很好，出門就能直接看到周圍的大山，很有意境。
因為房間很多材料是木質的，而且張家界空氣潮濕，可能酒店也欠缺管理，因此剛入住的時候房間黴味很大。最後點了很多香才基本中和掉。
客棧衹有兩層，一樓窗外什麼都看不到。如果想住樓上要提前溝通，到了客棧再溝通可能會沒房，我就想住二樓，可是沒房了～
整個西門附近基本沒有飯館和市場，因此吃飯的選擇基本就是客棧裏吃了， 客棧的飯很貴，一份番茄炒雞蛋要28塊錢，一份拌黃瓜要15塊。西門附近打車也很麻煩，我去了附近中湖鄉上吃了一頓燒烤，然後回來想打車等了半小時也沒打到，最後還是讓客棧老闆安排私家車送我回來的，2公里收費20元～～～
總的來説，不建議做高鐵飛機的遊客住在西門附近，還是優先選擇東門吧，自駕遊而且想體驗山腳下生活的可以考慮這裏

當天很晚才到 差不多10點了 晚上有星星可以看 由於太晚了 沒有拍特別多的照片 晚上房子才是真的漂亮 老闆也特別熱情 帶我們去吃夜宵 哈哈哈哈 夜宵老闆也是真的熱情 還送了個湯 主要是他那邊菜系還蠻便宜 第二天走的時候 老闆幫叫了車 去西站 最後附上老闆的小孩 好可愛 （給我泡泡糖的時候還幫我把紙撕開給我）額 還有呀 老闆 你的門外的月季有蚜蟲了 記得打蟲 這個月季特別容易病蟲害
