Best Hotels in Zillis-Reischen, Switzerland

Room was nice, clean and reasonable size with small balcony. We didn´t like pillows with synthetic filling and polyester sheets not great but otherwise comfortable mattresses. Nice wellness area. Nice modern hotel, location close to ski lifts, free parking. Shame that the lady at reception when we arrived seemed not interested in providing any information at all other than location of lift and room number. No mention of the wellness area, ski room, play areas, rules for covid and mask wearing etc. she also seemed to have no idea that there is a playroom and kids club (although we later found out that kids club is non existent and is in fact only a meeting room kitted out with some books and a few toys.) Online they advertised kids entertainment in the holiday period (basteln and kinderdisco etc.) this was non-existent and no info was visible in the hotel either about it. We were halb pension - menus are displayed daily in the lift suggesting perhaps a more exciting dining experience than what you actually get. Breakfast buffet was ok, but the warm food at dinner was so unappetizing that one evening I just had salad. Basically the Halb Pension means warm buffet + soup/salad - do not expect to anything appetizing that has been sitting under a warm lamp. Kids even complained that their food was cold. Real shame. We even saw people bringing in take away pizza to the restaurant, I assume because they didnt want to eat what was on offer!!! The staff mainly were nice and tried to be helpful but seemed a bit confused at times. The reception and check in really is the first impression of a hotel, the lady we got was terrible - the man checking us out however was lovely. Some improvements definitely needed but all in all it was an ok experience. Not sure I would go back and if I did I would not do halb pension.

I did not stay but only benefitted from dinner, gym and spa with massage. I ate a pizza with raw ham with excellent dough and seasoning: thanks pizza makers Andrea and Pino, obviously Italian. Really very good !!! As for the gym and the Spa I must say that I found it very clean and welcoming. As for the massage, one of the best facts in my life with foot reflexology. I have to thank the holistic operator Doris, a very prepared professional who put me at ease, with sweetness. I hope to find all of you who have brighten up my stay. Thank you very much, I will be back!

For 2 nights we were allowed to enjoy the extraordinary comfort and the very friendly staff at the Hotel Krone. There was a very friendly reception at the arrival. We were arrived early in the morning to ski. We could easily use the spacious deep garage and the skiing kelder. The hotel is an ideal starting point for skiing, a short walk to the gondol station. The room was very clean, modernly furnished and with enough room for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was exemplary and furnished with modern materials including shower gel, body lotion and fence. Water cooker for tea is also available. The room was quiet and we had 2 very pleasant and quiet nights. Large children's play area next to the reception. There was nothing missing at breakfast. Leave plates or containers were filled immediately. The offer was very rich, healthy and probably also regional. At the bar you can very well take an aperitif. In the offer is certainly something for every enjoyer. A table should be reserved for dinner in the restaurant. Very positive we were made by the very friendly staff. The reception, restaurant services, housekeeping, all had always a friendly smile or a greeting on their lips. That's rarely experienced in other hotels. Very great praise.
