During my recent business trip to Zurich, I opted to stay at this hotel. Despite having communicated my need to continue working after check-out, unfortunately, the option for a late check-out was not available. I proposed utilizing one of the hotel's business areas, such as a meeting room or conference room, and expressed willingness to pay for this privilege. I was informed that all the business areas were fully booked. In an effort to secure a suitable space for an important meeting, lasting only 30 minutes and necessitating privacy due to the sensitive nature of the discussion, the only solution provided was to book a full-rate room. I had no other options so I accepted the offer. I was provided with a room in the midst of the cleaning service (not cleaned up and not ready for a new guest, i.e., no bed sheets, no clean bathroom). After my short online meeting, I checked out from the room and paid the FULL price (200 CHF) for a night's stay. Additionally, upon checkout, the receptionist jokingly asked me how my "stay" was for the 30-minute journey, which, I found disturbing.
