"I frequently visit Zurich and this place is great, right in the city. There's a tram stop right outside, and a fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast is also good, provided by a neighboring chain restaurant. My family cooked dinner ourselves for the two nights we stayed. Swiss food isn't really to my taste, so after soaking in the scenery, we'll head back home for a big meal. There's a Migros supermarket nearby, so cooking our own meals saved enough money to cover the room cost for the whole family. We didn't park in the hotel's garage as we were driving, but used the public parking area behind the hotel which was free at night."

"What the owner could do: everything was fine. The room was small, a bit dark, but clean. Check-in was completely straightforward. The price was reasonable for Zurich. The location is also excellent. Right near the train station, and I couldn't hear the trains from my room. The shower and toilet setup... well, it requires some thought about what to do first in the morning to avoid getting wet feet. What prevents me from giving a better rating is an aspect related to the lack of staff and probably also the price, which is cheap for Zurich but ultimately reasonable... It also attracts cheap guests—in this specific case, Indian ones—who have no respect for local (sleeping) customs. In other words, they weren't just so loud in the rooms two doors down (17-19) that I couldn't sleep even after midnight, but they were also noisy in the hallway... In a hotel with a reception, the staff would have dealt with this; here, I had to sort it out myself."

The design was modern and functional, and I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have enjoyed during my travels. There was an excellent variety of fresh, high-quality food, and everything was beautifully presented. Whether you prefer a light breakfast or a hearty meal to start the day, there is something for everyone. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout my stay, contributing to a very pleasant experience. Although I only stayed for one night, I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. The room was excellent, the facilities were impressive, and the breakfast alone is worth coming back for. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Zurich and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality. Five Zurich - Luxury City Resort
"We chose Five Zurich - Luxury City Resort because we had an early morning flight from Spain to Switzerland, and we wanted a hotel where we could truly relax—enjoy a swim, use the sauna, and unwind in a beautiful environment. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt incredibly calming. The surroundings, set on a hillside, added to the peaceful and refreshing experience. What impressed us most was the exceptional service—every member of staff, including the housekeeping team, was polite and attentive. A special mention goes to Felipe, who took care of us with the level of attention you would expect from a five-star hotel in the Maldives and Dubai. The hotel driver was also extremely helpful, transporting us to and from the train station and assisting us with our luggage. Even when we had multiple bags, staff members went out of their way to guide us and lend a hand, which made a big difference. The hotel is divided into a main building and an East Wing, connected by a unique trendy tunnel—something quite fun and memorable, especially for children. Families will also appreciate the games room in the East Wing, where kids can enjoy table tennis and billiards. In the afternoon, we visited the Lindt Home of Chocolate. It was very convenient—about 20 minutes by taxi or 40–50 minutes by public transport. We also purchased a Swiss Travel Pass (first class), which made traveling incredibly easy. We didn’t have to worry about buying tickets—just hop on any Swiss train with spacious seats and quiet coach, tram, or bus at the right time and go. If you’re planning to explore Switzerland, staying at a hotel with good transport connections is definitely essential. One of the highlights of this hotel is its relaxing ambiance and the water features. The lobby features beautiful musical elements and décor, and the overall design is modern and stylish—creating a very comfortable and enjoyable space. I’ve heard that rooms in the East Wing are smaller and more suitable for single or double occupancy, with more reasonable pricing. Some rooms reportedly have windows that cannot be opened, but the hotel is already looking into improvements. Overall, we had a wonderful stay—and next time we visit Switzerland, we would absolutely love to stay here again. P.S. the hotel indoor swimming pool and Spa area is amazing too. We enjoyed it very much and wish we have more time in the hotel next time. We are heading to Lucern now."

"I would have given this hotel 5 stars except it is not on the Lake but a main street is in front. I had ordered a room with a lake view with a terrace thinking that there was no street. However, it was quiet at night but I am sure during the summer it probably will be noisy. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is very good."
