"Met my expectations. Since it's not in the city center, I didn't have high hopes for the surroundings, but it was very clean and the environment was good. It served its purpose for staying close to the airport. However, upon arrival, I realized Zurich city center is only two stops away from the airport, so there was actually no need to stay here just to be close to the airport."

"Overpriced accommodation because the building is old and the bed was not propely maintained upon arrival, also very difficult to find out the room because according to the instruction the room number and floor mentioned on the key, however there was not proper information provided on the key there was too many number it was very difficult to understand especially for tourist person or any new cummers. I would like to suggest they should be allocate the one person in the building who can assist to the people . Bed was totally uncomfortable, LED was too old no smart TV, if anyone coming from any other countries so how they will be understand the Channel on TV. They should be updated the things, I'm not fully satisfied, one main thing on arrival room door was already opened. It was so strange for me and I was struggling to find out the room till 1 hour. Apart from that, location wise it was ok near to the tram, bus, and train station as well as near to the airport."

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent."

"It costs 7CHF to reach Hotel Krone Unterstrass from Zürich airport. Take the train from the airport to the Zürich Oerlikon station then switch to tram#11 and alight at ‘Kronenstrasse’ stop. Hotel is just next to the tram stop. The neighbourhood is very quiet once dusk falls. You’ll soon discover that 3 stops more of tram#11 and you’ll be at the Zürich main station (Zürich HB) which is the city centre. The room has manual-controlled ac compressor (thank god) even if it’s fairly cool without it (~14 deg C outside at end-Sep). There’s no mini bar fridge and they provide a petite metal kettle. The whole point of my review is to commend Laura Mannino (spelling), the first point of contact when you visit the daily breakfast buffet. With her ready smile & winning demeanour, she’s an asset to every hospitality business. My 5th floor room has a newish feel to it & I really have no complaints. If you prefer to stay at the edge of the city centre and not pay an arm/limb for those $400~500 a night room at the city centre, Hotel Krone Unterstrass is ideal. Would I come back? Yes!"

"The room was nice. It's not far from the airport, and the shuttle service was a convenient bonus. Since I had an early flight, the hotel proactively offered a packed breakfast, which was a thoughtful and warm gesture."

"I booked this hotel because of its convenient location, just a 10-minute drive to Zurich Airport and 20 minutes to downtown. The room was functionally designed. Although there was no fridge and electric kettle, a coffee machine was provided. Check-in was handled by a staff member, and there's parking available for those traveling by car but just remember to bring your ticket to get it validated. Car park is FOC. The hotel is surrounded by supermarkets like Coop, Aldi, Lidl, and more, which made it very convenient. I’d be happy to stay here again in the future."

Just that the room maybe a little smaller than as shown in pictures, my room type is one bedroom apartment, but enough for 3 people as a family, also nice for the sofa bed in living room. "What a brilliant find on Trip.com! This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifully decorated and carefully thought out, with incredibly comfortable beds and a spotless environment. The front desk staff were first-class—so friendly and helpful. The location is a major highlight. Being right next to a tram stop was perfect, and discovering a large Aldi just a 3-minute walk away made it even better. We stayed in a basic room (114), which had a kettle but no fridge. However, a handy service room on the second floor offered a microwave, plates, and fresh towels if needed. Our room had a balcony which overlooked a woodland. During our stay we had uninterrupted sleep due to very low noise levels and quality blackout curtains.
