Even though the hotel is right next to the train station and our room window looked out onto the tracks, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear the trains at all. The location is also very convenient. For parking, you'll need to ask the front desk, and they'll guide you. We arrived around dinner time, so we just ate on the first floor. The food was so good that we decided to add breakfast there the next day. After our meal, we walked around and explored the main attractions, all of which are not far from the hotel – perfect for an after-dinner stroll. The room was spacious and comfortable. Although it's a converted industrial building, the attention to detail is impressive, even surpassing some larger hotels. For example, the shower floor is stainless steel, but it's custom-designed with anti-slip strips. There are many other small details like this throughout the hotel. I've stayed in art hotels in Melbourne and Tokyo before, but I believe this one is more deserving of the 'art hotel' title than any of them, as it features an actual artist-in-residence creation area. The only issue we encountered was that the record player in our room was broken, but we discovered it quite late and couldn't be bothered to contact the front desk.

Very good hotel, clean and spacious room, efficient and pleasant staff. The breakfast is plentiful. Even though the hotel isn't in the city center, the tram stop is right next to it, which is very convenient.

I recently stayed at this hotel on November 16, 2024, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! After a long 13 hour flight from Hong Kong, I was grateful to be allowed an early check-in at 9 AM. This made a huge difference, allowing me to rest before starting my day. Mr. Filippo at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He not only assigned me a lovely room with a terrace but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions, making my first day of a 13-day journey truly special. His courteous demeanor and willingness to assist were very much appreciated. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center and attractions, with everything you need right across the street. Located on a mountain, during the peak season for lilacs, the hotel staff, though shy and professional, diligently served each guest despite their limited English. A special commendation was given to the hotel reception for daily complimentary fresh apples. Their manager, a finance graduate who transitioned to this role to balance work and family, remained remarkably professional and elegant, leaving a lasting impression. Their respect for Chinese culture, their understanding of Sino-Swiss cultural exchange, and their natural conversation about the China-Europe Railway Express made us feel truly valued. Furthermore, everything from breakfast and bedding to honeymoon arrangements and timely directions was impeccable. We are extremely grateful for all of this and wish the hotel continued success!

I came to Switzerland to enjoy the beautiful views, scenery and everything this amazing country has to offer, so I wasn’t expecting my hotel stay to become such a special part of the trip. ❤️🇨🇭 A big thank you to the Front Office team at Crowne Plaza Zurich for making my birthday so memorable. Even though I spent most of my time out exploring Switzerland, coming back to such a thoughtful birthday surprise made the day even more special. A special thank you to Sophie, who noticed that it was my birthday and took the time to arrange everything. The flowers, chocolates, champagne and the beautiful room setup were such a lovely surprise. It was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly made me feel very special. I had a genuinely pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this place to others. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, attentive, and very easy to communicate with. Any requests I had were handled quickly and efficiently, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was available, and the facilities were in good condition and easy to use. I especially appreciated the comfortable atmosphere — it felt like a place where you could truly relax after a long day. The environment was also quiet, which made it easy to get good rest. In terms of overall experience, the hotel offers great value for money. Both the service and the facilities met (and in some aspects exceeded) my expectations. It’s clear that attention has been paid to the details that matter for a comfortable stay. If I visit again in the future, I would definitely consider staying here again. I’d also be happy to recommend it to friends or anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and a comfortable, stress-free experience. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Hotel is a 10 min walk from the bus station which connects to the train from the airport. The same bus station that takes to the central train station. It costs about 12CHF to 18CHF to or from train station. Hotel provides free rental bicycles which is very convenient. Facilities are OK. Room size is reasonable. Be aware that the uncovered glass of the shower may not suitable for all if privacy is important. The room we stayed were extremely hot. While it is only 14°-18° outside, the room temperature is definitely 30°+. It made hard to wear the proper clothing to fit the temperature for the day. No aircon, the only way to cool the room down is to open the side window which leaves no wall from the room to outside of the building. Yes, the only barrier are a couple of metal bars between the desk against the window to outside the building from our ninth floor room. Plus the window can closed by itself, you need to reopen it multiple times if you want the cooler air for a little longer. It’s hard for a hot night sleep. Breakfast is good and has good variety of the food and drinks. It costs 24CHF p.p. if it is pre-ordered. If stays in the same room, no, it is not recommended to stay here. It may have other rooms that are not as hot as the one we stayed.

It's quite a walk from the central station, and you have to take a tram in the opposite direction. Even then, the tram stop isn't right at the apartment entrance. The only upside is that there are no stairs to climb. If you don't have too much luggage and you find the right exit for the LandsMuseum, walking might actually be more convenient 😄

Very clean and fully equipped (we really appreciated the coffee machine). Check-in was very straightforward. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher pods, which was a bit incovenient. There was also a microwave, but the plates and mugs provided were not microwave-safe (the metallic decoration gives off sparks), which is another inconvenience. On our last day I was rushing in the hallway and slipped because the floor was freshly mopped. I sprained my ankle. Maybe this could have been prevented if there had been a sign to draw attention to the wet floor. Despite these, I would recommend!
