GGuest UserOverall, I had a very good stay. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and the amenities provided were complete, which made my stay enjoyable.
However, I experienced some issues with the communication and information provided before check-in.
Firstly, the booking on the Trip app stated that free parking was available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that parking was not free and that I had to pay. This information should be updated to avoid confusion for future guests.
Secondly, I was informed that I would receive the check-in guidelines one day before arrival, but I did not receive them until I contacted the management myself via message and phone call.
There was also inconsistent information regarding the security deposit. One day before check-in, I was informed via chat that the deposit was RM100. However, the PDF document sent during check-in stated that the deposit was RM200. I paid RM100 based on our earlier conversation, but I was confused by the difference.
I would recommend updating all information on the Trip app and in your check-in documents to ensure consistency. This should include parking fees, security deposit amounts, house rules, additional charges, and any check-in or video guidelines. Providing accurate and consistent information will help create a smoother experience for future guests.

GGuest UserExcellent cleanliness and decor! I stumbled upon this gem after initially booking the terrible Hotel 98 just 5 minutes away with its incessant noise at night. It's just off the main road and quiet, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed with its comfy bedding.

GGuest UserTo best describe this place, it's like a mini paradise atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful sea, with a twist of staying in large cylindrical concert culverts.
You can easily spot it along the road to Damai with its large circular logo at its gate. It was closed upon my arrival at 3pm, but due to the main entrance being easily seen from the receptionist area, it didn't take long for them to open the gate, and I just drove right in.
The receptionist was very polite and welcoming, decently professional as well, after checking us in we were given a quick tour around, highlighting the facilities and public areas.
The room itself, being quite quirky in its own way, isn't too difficult to maneuver around, as long as you don't rush yourself and knock yourself around the relatively tiny room. Adequate steps are built to help climbing up and moving around, with simple storage spots around the bed, which by itself takes up about half of the room. The other side of the room is the bathing area, which I would say is surprisingly spacious enough to use. So a bed and a bathing area sums up the entire, unique cylindrical room.
The hotel itself is nicely planned, guests can pamper themselves by picking their favorite spots located around the place, and enjoy a marvelous view of the sea. There's also a small private beach all the way down the cliff too. Facilities include swimming pools, sauna room, washer + dryer machines, gymnasium, library, etc. are pretty neat if you need them.
I would say the place is great for couples, and a short refresher trip. I technically live in the city just half an hour drive away, but to catch a break from work and relax here for a day, I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat. Just make sure you've got the legs to climb up and down the place!

GGuest UserThere was an issue with the air conditioner. Other than that, everything was good, but some rooms didn’t have a hair dryer or a fridge. However, I was impressed because the maintenance team asked if I wanted to change rooms and directly contacted the receptionist, who immediately allowed us to do so.

GGuest UserService was very good when we requested for new towels, pillow and mineral water. The room was spacious. It's value for money. But unfortunately we haven't try their breakfast as we have to go out before 6am.

GGuest UserBeen years and many occasion it has been our choice of short stay in kuching especially if we did come in with a rental vehicle , it is very convenience in and out from many side of the road when we need to avoid road congestion on busy hours .
On our last stay we did have some issue of being framed of a cracked glasses as we check in very late and went straight to bath and rest of the night, lucky we did notice the crack glass but thought it would be bery common as we expect of quite budget stay and it happen the next day while we re out around kuching being message of we need to pay for the glass because hotel front desk says we broke it .
Anyway long story short , at that late evening while being back to the hotel , we went to the front desk just to make sure if they're are really seriously asking us to pay for the glasses . We are bit furious cause we did not broke it as it is as it is prior we checked in, just to make sure , i did ask the front desk to make sure and reconfirm it they really want us to pay for it , that they can charge us prior we re checking out the next early morning.
But to our surprise the next morning while we're checking out , the feont desk did not bring that issue up anymore.

GGuest UserI had a very good experience during my stay. The customer service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, polite, and helpful. They were always ready to assist whenever I needed help.
The breakfast was also good with a nice variety of food, and everything was well prepared. The dining area was clean and comfortable.
Overall, everything went smoothly and I did not face any problems during my stay. I really enjoyed the experience and would recommend this place to others who are looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

EESTHER ODEL⭐ Review: Riverbank Suites Unit 408, Kuching, Sarawak
I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays.
Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep.
One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated.
Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.

Forced to cancel and never stay in the unit but had an experience dealing with the owner. Although it cant be refunded but lets assume its a good place based on the pictures alone haha
