FizazwariOkay. My stay was for 7 days and 6 nights. The only issue was that the TV wasn't set up, and we only got it working on the 4th day. The laundry soap wasn't refilled either, which wasn't enough for our 7-day stay. Overall, it was okay.

Guest UserWe had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to.
Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching.
The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.

Yongan16This is by far the best hotel in Kuching. It's newly renovated and even better than the Sheraton or Shangri-La. Perched high on a hilltop, its elevated location means it's safe from floods, a real plus in an island city like Kuching. The hotel complex itself is massive. The upper floors house the hotel, while the annex downstairs is a shopping mall. They're currently hosting a book exhibition, and there are plenty of bubble tea and ice cream shops – perfect for an afternoon stroll. The hotel breakfast is truly luxurious, with crab and salmon available in abundance. Make sure to book your stay with breakfast included!

Madam Fa⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay & Delicious Dinner
I had a very pleasant stay at Riverside Majestic Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was having dinner at the Puteri Lounge. I enjoyed the braised beef short ribs served with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The beef was tender, flavorful, and very satisfying. I also had a hot cup of coffee, which was the perfect complement to the meal.
Overall, it was a relaxing stay with good food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching.
Highly recommended! 😊

Guest UserLocation wise ok, easy to go by grab from airport.. but the problem once you reach there, very hard to go anywhere to buy stuff.. no grab around the area, to go back to airport need grab advance booking. service so slow, the only available restaurant is feeding tree, you have to wait 1.5hr to 2 hr min if you order food so we basically starve ourselves waiting for our food at the restaurant or room service. very hard to get a call with reception especially at morning or afternoon, however they will reply whatsapp message when you order room service (waiting time so long). the kayak service do not provide large life vest jacket so my big size husband unable to go kayaking. if you want to go to nearest shop, you have to walk to nearby resort, damai centre. 7/11 open 24hrs. the room/accommodation is nice and peaceful at permai but service so-so.. next time if i plan to go need to rent a car, no activities at night as most area so dark so we sleep early 😂 food at the resort cafe, feeding tree is ok, not so bad but drinks.. nope

Anonymous UserNote: Make sure to read carefully when booking. This building houses both a hotel and apartments. I booked an apartment-style stay, similar to an Airbnb. Someone will meet you for check-in, and all communication will be via WhatsApp with the 'housekeeper,' which is convenient and easy to understand. Check-in was quite smooth and easy to find. The environment and cleanliness were both good. There were no slippers in the room, and the hot water wasn't very hot. I booked for two days, and there were only two bottles of mineral water. Perhaps you can ask the housekeeper for more mineral water, or something else, I'm not entirely sure. These are minor issues; I bought two large bottles myself. There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The housekeeper I dealt with was quite helpful, polite, and nice. Communication was smooth. However, check-in is strictly at 3:00 PM, and there's no luggage storage available. My flight arrived very early in the morning, and I had to wait until 3:00 PM to check in. I can understand this, as most hotels have similar check-in times. What I don't understand is the lack of luggage storage. I was already super tired, sleepy, and hungry. With such a long wait until check-in, trying to go eat or explore while lugging around my baggage was extremely inconvenient!

Explore the world with JosephGood location at Jalan Song area, which the area is located lots of eatery places. Thus, we can easily to find foods that’s located just next to the apartment. The staffs is friendly and done the room service accordingly. There is not fancy swimming pool or gym but is good enough for a short stay in Kuching while exploring the city.

⭐ Review: Riverbank Suites Unit 408, Kuching, Sarawak
I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient.
The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays.
Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep.
One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated.
Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.

Mohd Norazam IsmailBooked a studio room which was much smaller than expected. The location is convenient, being close to the airport and shopping mall. It still offers reasonable value for money, but I would recommend choosing the apartment instead for more space. Also, noted that free parking is not provided for studio room guests.

The location is still ok because there is a mall so if you want to eat or buy things you are still happy, but if you want to go to the waterfront, it takes 25 minutes, in front of the apartment there is also an everise, but yesterday we ordered the 2 bedroom one, 13th floor, the funny thing is that the wifi we use is the hotel wifi so it's a bit slow, there's no soap in the room, he said Sinad, it's just not available, finally he was told to deliver it, there wasn't even an iron, when I checked out I asked, he said he wanted to chat then it would be delivered hadeh🤧, even though when he arrived there was no response to the chat, it was annoying Plus, if you want to use the washing machine, you have to rent it for 35 RM a night👎, that should be the facility we get when we rent an apartment, I live in another apartment, even though the washing machine isn't in the room, it's kept downstairs, if we use it, it's free. Why do you have to pay for this? , 200 rm deposit, 37 rm in cash, they said it was clean, the apartment wasn't the same, don't know, other floors, other owners, the same or not
