Kuching Hotels with Pools

The hotel ambiance exudes old-money charm. During my stay, I even had the pleasure of seeing their Sultan King. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is excellent, said to be in the best 'feng shui' spot, feeling grand and impressive. It directly faces the river, and in the evenings, it's very convenient to stroll along the riverside to Marina Bay Sands. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling when I checked in, but it was resolved after I reported it. Later that night, I discovered the shower gel dispenser was nearly empty, and no product would come out. Then, the shower drain clogged, quickly flooding the entire bathroom during my quick shower. The hotel does show some signs of aging facilities, but everything else was great.

My stay at Sheraton Kuching Hotel was both comfortable and refined. The room was spacious, immaculately maintained, and designed with thoughtful details that created a sense of calm and ease. The service was consistently professional and gracious, reflecting a high standard of hospitality. From arrival to departure, the atmosphere felt polished yet welcoming, making the stay truly relaxing. A well appointed hotel that offers a seamless and enjoyable experience . The hotel is nearby at eatery area like Top Spot Seafood restaurant and nearby Waterfront. I would gladly return.

The hotel is quite new, and very close to the airport. The buffet breakfast is good. However, it seems the staff were not familiar with the system so the check-in took a long time. Besides, there were renovation noises at 8-9am in the morning upstairs which was a bit disturbing. Lastly, it can take a long time for deposits refund (3 days already and I haven’t received it)

Overall, I had a very good stay. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and the amenities provided were complete, which made my stay enjoyable. However, I experienced some issues with the communication and information provided before check-in. Firstly, the booking on the Trip app stated that free parking was available. However, upon arrival, I was informed that parking was not free and that I had to pay. This information should be updated to avoid confusion for future guests. Secondly, I was informed that I would receive the check-in guidelines one day before arrival, but I did not receive them until I contacted the management myself via message and phone call. There was also inconsistent information regarding the security deposit. One day before check-in, I was informed via chat that the deposit was RM100. However, the PDF document sent during check-in stated that the deposit was RM200. I paid RM100 based on our earlier conversation, but I was confused by the difference. I would recommend updating all information on the Trip app and in your check-in documents to ensure consistency. This should include parking fees, security deposit amounts, house rules, additional charges, and any check-in or video guidelines. Providing accurate and consistent information will help create a smoother experience for future guests.

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

We had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to. Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching. The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.

Comfortable, welcoming, and brilliantly located. Being able to walk to a different, great meal every day made our family vacation so much more relaxing. The hotel itself is excellent for families. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well-insulated—meaning we didn't hear any outside street noise, and the kids slept soundly. We would absolutely stay here again!

I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. A relaxing beachfront stay with beautiful sea views and a peaceful nature vibe 🌊🌴 Damai Beach Resort is perfect for a short getaway, with direct beach access, spacious rooms, and stunning sunset views. The combination of beach and rainforest creates a calm atmosphere that feels refreshing and unique. Great for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a quiet escape in Kuching. Definitely worth it for the scenery alone ✨

The location is still ok because there is a mall so if you want to eat or buy things you are still happy, but if you want to go to the waterfront, it takes 25 minutes, in front of the apartment there is also an everise, but yesterday we ordered the 2 bedroom one, 13th floor, the funny thing is that the wifi we use is the hotel wifi so it's a bit slow, there's no soap in the room, he said Sinad, it's just not available, finally he was told to deliver it, there wasn't even an iron, when I checked out I asked, he said he wanted to chat then it would be delivered hadeh🤧, even though when he arrived there was no response to the chat, it was annoying Plus, if you want to use the washing machine, you have to rent it for 35 RM a night👎, that should be the facility we get when we rent an apartment, I live in another apartment, even though the washing machine isn't in the room, it's kept downstairs, if we use it, it's free. Why do you have to pay for this? , 200 rm deposit, 37 rm in cash, they said it was clean, the apartment wasn't the same, don't know, other floors, other owners, the same or not
