Kuching Hotels with Breakfast

The hotel ambiance exudes old-money charm. During my stay, I even had the pleasure of seeing their Sultan King. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location is excellent, said to be in the best 'feng shui' spot, feeling grand and impressive. It directly faces the river, and in the evenings, it's very convenient to stroll along the riverside to Marina Bay Sands. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling when I checked in, but it was resolved after I reported it. Later that night, I discovered the shower gel dispenser was nearly empty, and no product would come out. Then, the shower drain clogged, quickly flooding the entire bathroom during my quick shower. The hotel does show some signs of aging facilities, but everything else was great.

Stayed here for 5 days. Everything was great until the last day, when I discovered my room was literally flooded after taking a shower. The water appeared to be leaking from underneath the bathtub ??? and had spread from the bathroom all the way to the bed 😵💫 My shoes were literally floating, and my shopping bags, stuff ect infront of the door were soaked wet. The front desk responded quickly by sending the plumber/maintenance team, rwhich I appreciated. However, with my room full of stranger, I had no choice but to check out early wearing my soaking wet socks and shoes. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay

Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and check-in and check-out were very efficient, with no unnecessary waiting. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained, hot water supply was stable, and the amenities were complete. The public areas were clean and elegant, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices that suited my taste. The only minor drawback was that the lighting by the window was a bit dim, but it didn't affect the overall experience. The value for money is quite high for this area. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm passing through, and I recommend it to friends who are traveling.

Overall Experience recently stayed at Hotel Abell Kuching and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers great value for money and sits in an excellent location. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth, pleasant, and highly satisfying. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Kuching.Room Quality & Cleanliness, The room was exceptionally clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The bedding was fresh, the towels were pristine, and the overall room environment felt very hygienic and comfortable to rest in after a long day of exploring.Staff & Front Desk Service, A huge highlight of our stay was the staff. The front desk team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They greeted us with warm smiles and handled our check-in swiftly. Throughout our stay, they were always ready to assist with directions and local recommendations, making us feel right at home.Dining & Room Service. The breakfast provided was absolutely delicious. There was a good variety of options to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Additionally, we ordered room service during our stay. The food arrived hot, the delivery was prompt, and the service was executed with a great, polite attitude.Minor Issue Swiftly Resolved. The only minor hiccup we encountered was a slight drain smell in the bathroom upon arrival. However, as soon as we notified the staff, they took immediate action. The maintenance team settled the issue completely and efficiently, showing just how attentive and responsive the hotel management is to guest comfort.

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

We had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to. Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching. The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.

You can use this version: We had a pleasant stay at Roxy Hotel 3rd Mile Apartment. The 3-bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our group of 6 people. The location is very convenient, especially being close to Timberland Medical Centre, making it easy for us to go for our hospital check-ups. There are also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely choose this apartment again.

Great location and views! The room was a bit dated though. The air conditioner's outdoor unit was right on the balcony, which was handy for drying clothes, but it made a bit of noise at night. There were no complimentary toothbrushes, but you could get two for free at the front desk. The phone was broken, and the towels were a brownish-red color, so it was hard to tell if they were clean or dirty.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view of the river. Waking up to the scenic waterfront and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere truly enhanced the overall experience. The hotel’s location is also excellent, making it convenient to explore the nearby attractions along the Kuching waterfront. Overall, a great stay with comfortable rooms and a beautiful river view. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching.

Great experience overall. The service was excellent – staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout the stay. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable for families. Everything was convenient and easy to access.
