Zurich Hotels with Parking

Great room and shower, but lighting and AC need improvement. I recently stayed at the 25hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, my room was pleasantly spacious and the shower was fantastic, featuring excellent high water pressure. However, the room's lighting was quite dim and not very practical. I also found it quite difficult to adjust the room temperature to a comfortable level. It is a stylish place to stay, but a few adjustments to the room comfort would make it much better.

We are always pleased to stay in Ruby Mimi and other Ruby Destinations..The location is only 5mins walk to Zurich Hb and in the center of high street…the hotel is clean and the staffs is so nice and accommodating (5star!!!!) We will definitely return in this Hotel if we will coming back in Zurich…

I recently stayed at this hotel on November 16, 2024, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! After a long 13 hour flight from Hong Kong, I was grateful to be allowed an early check-in at 9 AM. This made a huge difference, allowing me to rest before starting my day. Mr. Filippo at the front desk was incredibly helpful. He not only assigned me a lovely room with a terrace but also provided excellent recommendations for nearby attractions, making my first day of a 13-day journey truly special. His courteous demeanor and willingness to assist were very much appreciated. The hotel's location is perfect, just a short walk to the city center and attractions, with everything you need right across the street. Its actually quite a walk from Zurich HB if u're travelling with an elderly, but my mother made it. There's actually a bus that you can take to the 'Central' bus stop and walk from there tho googlemap wont route u there coz its relatively a short walk. We stayed here for 1 night on arrival. Very comfortable and friendly staff.

My stay at Placid Hotel Zurich was truly enjoyable! 🇨🇭✨ The hotel has a modern, minimalist design with large windows offering amazing city views — especially at sunrise and sunset. The rooms are clean, stylish, and well-equipped, with everything from high-speed Wi-Fi to a Nespresso machine and super comfortable beds. 🛏️ The reception team was excellent — very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with directions, transport cards, or restaurant recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. 🙌 Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right ☕🥐. The hotel’s location in Zurich Altstetten is also convenient — just a few minutes by train or tram to the city center and Zurich Main Station. 🚆

In general, the hotel offers a balance between fee, location, and service. The room is clean, the location is suitable for walking to all the sightseeing places in Zurich. However, it is noteworthy that the bathroom and the toilet are not inside the room, you must go to separate places. This is not mentioned when I place the booking, or I didn’t pay attention to this detail. I travelled during the not-busy season so it is OK, most of the time when I wanted to use the bathroom, it was available. However, during the travel seasons, you should be aware.

Please be careful of hidden charges when checking in. The room itself was fine, but the front desk service wasㅠdisappointing. They should clearly explain any additional costs to foreign guests before charging them. For example, although I stayed alone, I was initially charged city tax for two people without any confirmation. The receptionist also asked about breakfast very quickly, and I thought it meant I could skip it. However, they were actually asking if I wanted to add breakfast. They never mentioned the price (27 CHF), and since English is not my first language, I didn’t fully understand the situation. As a result, the breakfast charge was added to my bill without a clear explanation. I didn t charge their, but the whole experience was uncomfortable and could have been avoided with clearer communication. I don’t think there was any bad intention, but the communication was unclear and made the experience uncomfortable. This situation could have been avoided with better explanation.

The location and cleanliness of the room were excellent. However, there doesn't seem to be a permanent staff member at the hotel, so you need a passcode to enter. This means you must complete the web check-in by the day before your arrival to receive the passcode and room number via email from the hotel. It's absolutely essential not to forget to do the self-check-in beforehand.

The hotel is self-check in, Ctrip did not send a reservation number starting with 4, resulting in the need to contact the hotel staff to check in. The location of the hotel is not close to the train station, it takes 10 minutes to walk or take the tram. But at this price, there are not many choices in Zurich, but fortunately the hotel is clean and business trips are ok.

The location was a bit remote. There was a lot of smoking in the house and it smelled bad. The kitchen was lacking in ingredients.
